Pretty sure those boats were boats with my own sweat and many nights sewing in my tiny shop in the Thrax ward on very little sleep. Sooooo sorry that my hard work and investing what coin I have into ensuring my son won't have to work through the night when he's as old as me offends your sell sword sensibilities. If that makes me as horrible as a pretty good woman, then i'll take that. Through and through.
Though going back through your whites, and yes, I took an hour to get out of the shop and go look, I get the feeling that when you're not selling each swing of your sword, you're picking through the archives to start a fight. Sure, there's gotta be something better? No? Probably not.

No, she's not spoiled. She's generous. She's large in heart. She's always in, buying something for someone. New members of the Grayson military are recruited and she's in buying them armor. She goes from shop to shop and buys this and that. Why? I asked her once. She said it was because she will see something for someone and get it for them. Princess Pink, Ribbons, Pinky, whatever she is being called now, has been a valued customer of mine and she will continue to be a valued one. Because I know when she comes in and has an order for armor or a dress or a shirt and pants, it's because that woman is making sure that someone's ass is covered and isn't gonna die immediately of being a fucking pincushion or run through. She gives away stuff, because sometimes the stuff she buys, doesn't end up going to someone or she bought something from a shop to show her appreciation and to keep Arx's economy healthy.
dunno what started this shit with her and the rest of the people in the whites that it's all anyone's talking about in my shop but if people got a problem with Princess Pink, it's probably a whole ass load of jealousy.

I have a deep desire to help in this seige. I have found that I have very little skill to offer! What am I going to do, sew a pretty dress for a Bringer? That'll show them! Ha! However, it is Joscelin that has inspired me in a way that I -can- help. She put out word through the crafters guild to recruit us to help with various efforts. It was this word that inspired me to begin crafting bandages. I had found that I had a surplus of silk and cotton. So, I began creating fresh bandages for the healers to use. I am taking silk and using cotton between the silk layers and sewing it together. It will be more comfortable against the skin and absorbant! I figure that if I can save even one life with my bandages, I can make a difference.

It is clear that people do not like those of my fealty, Thrax. I have seen people that know I am Thraxian stare at me as I walk by. I have been barred from some establishments just because of my fealty. It is rather frustrating. There are some of us that have tried hard to boost the image of the Thraxian people. All it took was the actions of one person to bring all that work down. I am but a commoner. I am but a seamstress.

War. It is upon us. It is at the very gates of the city. Days prior to the arrival of this enemy, I had found myself sleepless and filled with worry. This worry has turned to terror now that the army is here. Some of my terror is for my own survival instinct of course, but it is also for others. There are several that I deeply care for that will be facing this threat head on. I dread the thought of loosing them more than the threat on my own life. We are facing such an unknown enemy with such a terrible unknown power of their own. I fear we are at a severe disadvantage. However, I have the feeling that in the end we will prevail. We may suffer losses, but we are a rather diverse and full of surprises. It is this knowledge that keeps me hopeful for the future of our people.

It is interesting how things can play out. I made a simple cloak for this knight for the price of good word spread. This deed seemed to have brought him back to my shop one day. His visit was not for the sake of business, but it was to ask me out to dinner. This dinner together turned to more dates and more time spent with the handsome knight. One thing led to another and I have found myself utterly in love. I have never felt like this toward another. I just know that he is the one.

Things are going absolutely crazy in the city. Crime is at an all time high. Crazy, unexplainable things are happening. Now, I hear that there is an army coming to the city! We may soon be under siege! I admit that I am terrified of what might come. However, I will do what I can. For a short while, I have ceased taking clothing comissions so tht I can focus on helping Halsim and Count Darkwater on various projects.

I put up my first event! It was exciting to do! I had so many people show up, bringing toys to donate to the orphans. The people present voted on the toys to see who brought the silliest, fanciest, and most unique toys. I did not vote myself, though I was partial to the little giraffe donated by Lady Samantha and the warship donated by Count Maximilian. It was a fun event, children were laughing, and the adults even seemed to be smiling. It warms me that so many showed up to give favors to the forgotten orphans of Arx.

I made a fine seasilk dress in an austere Thraxian fashion. It was put up in a fashion show that was held by the Whisper house. At first, I seriously doubted myself and my abilities. With the current frown upon the more somber fashions of Thrax, I was worried that my creation would be disregarded. I was wrong. I am glad to be wrong! It seems the dress I created was a great success! Now I am eager to see how well it fares with the upcoming auction. I spent quite a bit of money investing into that dress.
