Lady Volcica Stahlben.
Anyone who has a care to remember the names of those in Arx who are rather selfless, work to improve their houses, sacrifice for the good of the Compact, and all-around do great things. Lady Volcica Stahlben. She should be thanked and remembered for a number of reasons. But I have one very personal and important thing to be thankful for her presence for.
She saved my life at Pieros. I am sure of it.
You have my eternal appreciation, Volcica. I would be happy to have you nearby whatever adventures we might go on in the future. Thank you.

Last eve I had a garment made for Lady Volcica for our upcoming pyjama party. When I saw it, I paused. It's something I am struggling to imagine Lady Volcica to wear. She assures me she likes it.
I think it truly exemplifies her as our Rose of the north, so if you come to our pyjama party, please make sure you compliment her on how stunning she looks. She will love it!

I can't begin to express House Stahlben's gratitude and happiness at the reception Seraphanite is receiving. It truly is the most beautiful gem and the people who have so generously spread the word on it's production. It truly warms my heart to see so many pieces of it on people around the compact.
In truth, bringing this gem to the city was all Lady Volcica's idea. She is the brains behind it all. I have been truly blessed in finding family in her. Though, her next project excites me more than gems. Be warned!

I was sent a handful of seraphinite stones by House Stahlben to use in whatever creations I might want to. I had already been toying with an everwinter or black ice sort of theme, and these gems could not have fit in more perfectly, all evergreen and snow-feathers in looks. I made seven pairs of hairpins, two of which I sent as gifts, the rest of which I put in the shop for sale.
I'm thankful House Stahlben thought I might be inspired by the stones which, really, are pieces I plan to work with a lot more in the future.

Got a gorgeous necklace sent to me by Lady Volcica. Definitely going to be wearing it to the ball later, but debating what to pair with it. It is a shame a budding artisr of such talent already has a patron, it would be a lie to say I wasn't disappointed to hear it. Still, beautiful work, and I can't wait to show it off as the feather matches my tattoo in addition to the stone being so lovely.

I received a most unexpected and entirely welcome gift from House Stalhben! A cuff with the most exquisite gemstone I have seen in quite some time. It is called seraphinite and is a glorious green with these curiously lovely feathery inclusions. I am quite enamored of it and shall be wearing it proudly.

When I married into house Stahlben, I was told a legend by a couple of northern merchants.
They told me that in the far north on the edge of the Everwinter was a woman referred to as the northern rose. That she grew heads above the other women, her skin was as flawless as the fresh snow and her beauty would make men and women weep with joy for seeing someone so pure and beautiful. They spoke of how not only was she beautiful, but it was her unending kindness and the warmth of her smile that made her truly unique. Of course, I thought this was just a myth.
Until I met Lady Volcica.
I have been blessed beyond belief to have been gifted her as a sister in law. Her passion, dedication to her people and her unique and endearing charm has made me a better person. A better leader.
So I ask all reading, that you recognize her as the rose of the north. The rarest of flowers you could ever encounter at the Bonespire.

I received the gift of a beautiful necklace of a bear fashioned from seraphinite from Lady Volcica. It is simply stunning, and I shall wear it quite proudly. So many beautiful things come from the northlands, so I am unsurprised such a stone originates in the mines of the Bonespire. I shall treasure this gift always.
I also urge others to look into acquiring this stone for their jewelry. It is breathtaking! I feel so lucky to own this piece myself and to have such wonderful friends as Volcica.

My younger sister by a short span of years. A gifted shaman and seer of visions and perhaps my closest confidant, she traveled with me from the frost of the Bonespire to Arx when we bent our knee to become part of the Compact. Since arriving she has also become the speaker of our house, left capably in her hands should I be away.
