Relationship Note on Talwyn
We got through the months of morning sickness undetected. At least Talwyn was home at Saik Tower then. We got through the mid months where strategic use of shawls, loose garments, bulky armor with cross body belts, pouches and the like concealed the growing belly, or so I think no one really noticed. So much is happening to occupy attention of others. Then there was need for one of us to return to Saikland and Talwyn left. I miss my husband. There is no hiding that there will soon be another Saik infant though. I took a little tumble on an icy patch in the snow and the midwife had to check me over a few times. All is well and Tally will soon be a father to another child.. or two if this turns out to be twins again. Wonder what shall we name him or her or them?

I miss my husband so much. We have been married such a short time and already duty took me to Saikland for a period of time... and then to help Ladies Kaia and Zoey with a family problem. I... was injured during that but.. have healed enough to return home now. No scars or lingering problems other than a reluctance to sing for a goodly while.

I've witnessed the power of his lute, and it can be a terrifyingly effective thing. The power of song can bring much merriment - and his ability to twist bottoms, with pies, with people of drunkness status - is something I find awe-inspiring.

Prince of Valardin, the Dragon of Sighs, Possessor of Phenomenal Pants; It was such a blessing to make his acquaintance. He is every bit the Oathlander gentleman and left the feast (nearly) unscathed. There is a wonderful friendship blossoming here. I look forward to more dancing.

Summary: The green snow had been disorienting. Macda had found herself outside- wandering- in soaked slippers, a soaked-through jumper, and a blanket that was collecting the infected ice crystals. Time had passed and alls he remembers doing was drinking. Lots of drinking and talking. And her hands hurt- but they always did. Good thing she had been so battered in recent days, she still had her aeterna healing wraps to cover the aching fingers and some more for her forearm. She prayed for the blessing that was Andry, at some point during the Tattooing "event" that swept over some of Arx's Faithful. If not for his demanding and then carrying of her to the Mercies, she would be much worse off; beyond the need for the ribbons. She had grown to consider the feelings of the Bayweathers, both men had been good to her beyond reason. They were indescribably good priests, with their different perceptions and yet unwavering faith to what they believe is right. So Andry's possible disappointment and potential chastisement weighed heavily on her as she returned home missing Thistleton, her shoes, the coat Talwyn gave her.

Birdsong accompanied by lyre and the rustle of wind in the autumn leaves creates a rare symphony of sound I will ever associate with our meeting.
I am also grateful to those stubborn birds of late autumn. We shall have to thank them when they return this spring. Birdseed for the lot of them!
