Relationship Note on Symonesse
So my cow (Technically mine, but she belongs to the children) placed 3rd in the Bovine Grand Prix. Normally I wouldn't enter this kind of thing but Idris and Iris really wanted to watch a cow run so I indulged them. They now have a trophy that looks like the Queen to decorate their bedroom. Both of them were so thrilled. I put it up on a high shelf so they can see it but neither can grab it and fight over it. Sharing is caring, blah blah, fucking platitudes.
Speaking of the Queen, Symonesse told Mihaly and I we're having a boy. Mihaly was almost as silently stunned as when I first told him he'd be a father. She also invited the twins to go spend time with the Royal Twins. I can see the four of them getting into trouble exploring the palace and that delights me. I want them to make friends and have connections in the city for when they're grown. The Compact is only as strong as our bonds, and I want the twins to have strength and allies for the fights to come in the future.

The Queen called me steady, it was quite the compliment. I'm a little confused about the 'always' part, but that doesn't mean I disagree. As steady as a ship in a strong wind, that's what I always say!

Another Highlands Steer has left the herd for green pastures. Queen Symonesse was the recipient of Tulip, the steer calf and I believe that he will find much love in the Grayson Stables or wherever he might go.

Relationship Note on Symonesse
I came to the city with one goal: to become a recognizable name as an artist.
I seem to have achieved that in part for the commissions I receive wherein they are accompanied by a note that they were referred to me by another. People already wear my jewelry and I hear talk of it in the streets.
But today I think I may have taken the step on the path I was unaware I was being guided toward. The Queen herself has taken me as her protege. I will be not only her primary artist for jewelry, but she has also promised to introduce me to the artisans of the Twilight Court.
I keep expecting to wake up from a beautiful dream. The Twilight Court. Just the name hearkens to tales I heard as a child. Oh, but I can't wait to see what they might teach me!

I am also mildly apprehensive about the prospect of moving into the path of thousands of years of unleashed pent-up maternal desires, so please be gentle when I step into harm's way. The Compact worked very hard to bring me back from the Exsilium Noctis, after all.
