Relationship Note on Rowan
I need my wilderness the same way I need the sun splashing warm across my face. I need to remember the sweetness of home and the life of the forest. Do you remember running through the thick brush and vines and tree roots that rose up from the ground in great arcs? The way we ran, jumping and leaping so often that we thought we were flying? Nothing could touch us, our Forest wrapped us up in her sweetness and showed us the best parts of ourselves. I don't want to forget what those parts are.

Relationship Note on Rowan
A chance meeting in a forest glade, intelligent conversation, pleasant company. Though he scared me enough that I shall have a bruised backside for at least a week, I am happy to realize that my own internal beliefs of Prodigals and those outside of the Compact have been wrong. I don't know what I expected, to be honest, but he was a welcome breath of fresh air.
I can only hope he feels the same, but a man that looks like that will be prying women off with a spear for many years to come, and so many do not wish friendship with a Princess that has little to offer but dances in a sunlight forest.

Relationship Note on Rowan
Lord Rowan is an interesting man; the more we interact, the more I realize we have in common. I wouldn't have thought that, at first glance: a tattooed elk-riding shaman, and someone who is all but a field Scholar who simply refuses to actually /join/ the Vellichorian temple.
But the truth is, we share a similar curiosity, a similar desire to /understand/ the world. A similar willingness to push the boundaries in hopes of reclaiming the things we've forgotten. (And also a similar fondness for perching in trees.)
He's one of those handful I could see myself adventuring with quite successfully. I don't have a lot of close friends like that. So the ones who have that potential to become such... well, they're worth remembering.
But the truth is, we share a similar curiosity, a similar desire to /understand/ the world. A similar willingness to push the boundaries in hopes of reclaiming the things we've forgotten. (And also a similar fondness for perching in trees.)

Son of my sister Maeve. Never one to sit still, or keep his hands to himself; hasn't changed since he was a boy, except that it probably got worse as he got older. We've probably fought more often than been civil to one another in all these years gone, but I know when it comes down to it, I wouldn't want anyone else at my side when everything goes to shit. He still has a lot to learn if he wants to be any sort of spiritual leader for our people, but I reckon he'll prove himself in time.

Where do you begin when someone swoops into your life, offering a hug and gifts you with smiles and laughter when you feel at your absolute lowest? When talking with that person seems as comfortable and familiar as if you have known them a lifetime? When you wonder, if perhaps, your souls were off mingling perhaps before you were born (causing mischief and trouble, no doubt)?
Where do you begin... but at the beginning and looking towards a hopefully long path ahead full of many things explored and experienced, survived and celebrated, and above all else watching the threads weave as they may.
But perhaps, the best place to begin is to simply say, thank you. Thank you, Rowan, when I was at my absolute lowest, you helped me rise up. When I needed someone the most, I found a stray. Thank you, Lord Stray, coholder of the title of finest strays in Arx, long may we reign.

I'm really not certain how many more there are to meet of the Greenmarch House, but I certainly hope Lord Rowan isn't the last of them. His passion for his beliefs has been not only an interesting study on a personal level, but the information he so willingly shared will, I hope, help us both in the end. Another outstanding member of a House that should make the Telmar's proud.

Relationship Note on Rowan
Rowan has arrived in Arx. As annoying as younger siblings can be, there's still strength to be found in having one's blood close at hand. Like all of us he has a lot of maturing to do, but you can already see the Otherness starting to take its root in him. I have no doubt that Rowan will find his footing in the next decade and be the sage that the Greenwood needs him to be. I can only pray to the gods and request of the spirits that he have a decade to do it in.
