The burden isn't always the best one to bear, you gotta have the shoulders for it. And not a lot of people really get what it takes to be Sword, so I'd call it an exclusive fucking club. But from what I've seen from you, you'll do fucking alright.

I was honored -- well, flattered is probably more accurate, I guess; honored sounds better, though -- when Roland asked if I could come with him on his quest. I was afraid he'd change his mind, I was so eager. It sounds like tale, and he plays the part of a perfect hero. I'm not sure I could have been as focused as he was, but he never wavered. I trust him absolutely to defend.

It's not often you get to meet an individual that seems to have stepped straight out of the storybooks, but if there's a better representative of the Valardin ideals than this man, I haven't met them yet. Humble, stalwart, valiant, and courteous. Everyone else I've met that also knows him has not had a single ill thing to speak about the man. It's been quite the honor to help him out with his appointed tasks, and I'd unhesitatingly do so again in the future.

Sir Magnificent has been my friend since I was six! We've been writing each other since I was little. He found me trying to teach his sheep how to dance. Dancing sheep are *adorable*. I'll have to find some sheep to show him that I finally managed to do it! All his letters from when he was a squire were fascinating!

This man discovered today that talking to a Bringer is always an option. But it resorts to violence the moment you decide you're not on their team.
Because then, to the Bringer, if you aren't with them, then you are an obstacles.
Also, of note? Those fuckers are -fast-. On horses, we'd not have made it. Tristan would have because he's part horse and the beasties listen to him, but the rest of us would have been jam.
