It is impossible not to admire the recent work Master Ripley creates in honor of Artshall. The delicate work and variety of materials and thought put into it puts one in awe. Personally, I understand tragedy breeds art, but I am moved by every piece that is created in honor of my home.

I've returned home! And only with a few scratches on me. I can probably thank my armor for that and for Master Ripley endlessly tinkering with the charms and such that I keep. I've tried my hand at jewelry making and managed to craft a few interesting trinkets, but certainly nothing with the skill that he has. He has more talent in his little pinky than I do in my entire body!

I would not have been able to do this without the help of the young lad of Ripley. His forge was able to get hot enough to melt the metals which allowed me to add the fins. Like the arrows have. Flight!!!

I have laid eyes upon the necklace Master Ripley designed and painstakingly crafted for the auction at the Coral Ball. It is simply divine. It glitters like all the stars in the sky thanks to the dazzling effect of deeplight coral. And it can go with nearly any outfit! Beautiful links of black and white - with one rare pink-hued piece front-and-center. And pearls! The man is a genius. I never would have imagined this necklace even if I'd spent five years thinking on it.
Whoever wins the auction is going to be incredibly lucky. I'm even a bit jealous!

Perhaps they sent you soap because they made it and they wanted you to have something they'd personally made? They liked the scent or it made them think of you?
I've sent people map cases, care packages, 'stop hurting yourself' gift baskets... things that I could make with relative ease, or design and have made to my specifications. Come to think of it, I think the Beards & Brews championship belt I made one year is still floating around....

This man helped me break down older, unused portions of my wardrobe from prior seasons. And yet, I've never actually spoken to him face to face. One time I saw him in a crowded room, I tried to wave. But he was gone. I have heard that he likes my eyebrows. Not the kind of compliment a man hears about everyday but I'll take it.

Should he come to you for sympathy, give him a deeply concerned look at tell him he has really nice hair.
Should he write to you about such concerns as his skill is lacking, respond back with a perfect jewel, one that glows from the inside out. Tell him it reminds you of his eyes. Or hair. He likes his hair. Tell him you hope he finds inspiration.
If these things fail, threaten to tell his sisters on him, because sometimes that works.

Jayus does not take away his gifts, I don't believe, but perhaps sometimes sets a challenge before us. I'm not sure. There are at least dozens of times when something didn't come out as well as I'd hoped, but the disappointment was mine to learn from, I think. It doesn't make you a horrible person - it makes you human.
