Relationship Note on Jarel
The spars at the training center went unexpectedly well. I needed practice defending against very large weapons and was able to give some on just how irritating small hairpins could be when applied in just the right way or places. After about twelve rounds, both having given and suffered several blows, we called the two spars to be ties. Encouragement and combat tips were given to me. I'm dreading tomorrow, some of these bruises are going to be so sore!
