I am available for mid-wife meetings! I have another batch of teas for you to try and Marie and I have been working out a recipe for ginger biscuits to ease that all-day belly sickness. When I was carrying Aeryn I sometimes went days without being able to keep more than porridge down. The biscuits are crisp and light, and the ginger helps immensely. I will make sure a basket is delivered soon!

I have found that so far Valardin weddings have been rather exciting. Okay some parts of them have been. Such as coming back from Alis and Fia's wedding. As well as being there when You wed Edain. I know that I am not always the most proper person when it comes to titles and things of that nature but know that I am a loyal person. I was honored to be there to not only fight by your sides but to witness the oaths taken between the two of you.
I am sure much to Edain's exasperation I often will act as his bodyguard even if he swears he doesn't need one. I do so because I respect him greatly. I just wanted you to know that my loyalty and my sword is now yours as well. Welcome into Valardin, Caelis. I hope that you find us to be a welcoming family. My brother has an amazingly badass wife. I am so glad he has you. I will protect you the same way I try to protect him (but without thrown shoes, I promise). We may have to create a rotation of who gets to kick peoples asses on his behalf though, since I am equally certain we will both always want to do so!

Who would have ever thought that a few innocent riding lessons could have blossomed into a marriage? I look back with fondness at the memory of my sending her to meet with the Prince of Sanctum to ask that he lend his considerable experience to what was, at the time, something of an apprehensive situation for my cousin.

I bore witness to my cousin's marriage today. Mostly. There were some obstructions to the view to be perfectly honest.
But the point is, my cousin, who I have come to lean on and who I have kept close through out our childhood and in to our adult lives, is now the Princess-Consort of House Valardin. Further more, she is marrying a man that I call friend. I could not be happier for the both of them. I know she will keep him on his toes. I know he will be her moral compass.
Neither by chance, nor by fate.
But the point is, my cousin, who I have come to lean on and who I have kept close through out our childhood and in to our adult lives, is now the Princess-Consort of House Valardin.
