It is very nice to have Artur around once again and to be able to converse with him face to face. I wonder if he knows what he's gotten into when he agreed to train my three? There shall be fun to be had I think or great amusement on my part to see how he does in his attempt to round them up so they may actually learn something not from me. I also wonder what Asger would think. I bet he's laughing his head off.

Oh my dearest friends and family,
I feel compelled to speak of such things today. Love is in the air. It's Spring. It happens every year. It makes me think of the people I have loved and people that have loved me. It's a glorious condition to be heartsick. To feel that intensity when one you care about is around. My heart is grateful for much of it's steps and paths that it has taken. It led me to Prince Artur Redrain and in him, I find a great friend. I adore him so much and this has not lessened (even if our roles in fate has). His happiness still steals my breath with pure rapture. If you have not, I would ask that you send word to him. Tell him Esme said you should. Ask him out for drinks. Ask him about legends. Talk and be merry.

It is true, what my brother wrote. When we were children and he would head out or sneak out, to go on some adventure, there were no few times that I would follow. I always thought he didn't know, of course, and I stepped into the prints he left in the snow as much so he didn't know as anyone else. I suspect few big brothers like their little sisters tagging along. It wasn't easy - for several years I had to leap to get from one to the next. I would have to leave his prints and find a hiding place with some great tree, at some point, or I'd never get close enough to hear him fight the great beasts of his dreams, or see him wield his wooden sword. I loved to listen to the tales he told as he fought the monsters, but always had to hop back into his bootprints - on tippytoes - and get back to the castle before he noticed I was there. I guess he always knew I was there anyhow, and I hope to always be there for him now that we are grown.

After a long discussion with you, I put some things together. In case you don't know it, Artur, you are an incredible inspiration. I'm moved to be a better Knight and a better Lord. I suppose when you spend a majority of your time with Princes and Princesses, some of that wisdom and experience is bound to take hold.

The pursuit of information is a lifelong sojourn, a journey weaving a path through many unexpected corners. The hazards of setting out are far outweighed by the gains, but as any scholar can tell you, you'll soon discover your knowledge barely scratches how much there is out there.
Be persistent. Ask questions. Find likeminded folk willing to share their insights and guide you on the path of whatever you seek. A good many outstanding minds in Arx wait to help those who ask for such aid, and not all of them are the people you may expect.

Truly, all the thanks should go to Lady Monique and the incredible small army behind the Gala! I told her when I inquired about the table that were it still available and I could get it, I likely would never have to buy another present for the rest of my brother's life, and I think I was right. More sincerely, though, the moment I saw it at the event, my mind immediately went to Artur.
Sometimes as a little girl, as baby sisters often do, I would sneak out after him when he was headed off for some grand adventure. My brother's favorite tales always seemed to be those told of Prince Weohstan Redrain. Sometimes I would swear, as that little girl who had to leap to match his footprints in the snow, that I saw a glimmer of our heroic ancestor when Artur pretended to fight the greatest beasts of Arvum in those forests of Farhaven.
It almost seemed too good to be true that Prince Weohstan was one of the heroes selected for the Gala and that the alcove dedicated to him remained available afterward. Truly, I think few would love it the way my dearest brother might. I'm so glad!

My brother and I have exchanged gifts on this lovely Grayson Gift Day! As always, he knows me so well and picked the most perfect thing, one that I utterly lacked: perfume. Truly, I have the best brother in all of Arvum and the most glorious champagne silver "Heart of the north" ring as a gift from him. It is stunning, but what really makes it special is that it now sits on the finger where a ring my mother had given me, before leaving Farhaven, had been. I had given it to Lagoma's flame at the Thirteen Lamps ceremony and just never got around to attempting to replace it. It seemed too special, really, having had been a gift from her. I suppose the fates are indeed curious.

I would not trade my brother, so no one even entertain such an idea. One could hardly ask for a better sibling! Biased as I may be. I'm rather certain he had hoped for a brother and not some scrambley little girl often tagging along on his adventures, but I would like to think I've grown on him. Cousins, though? Well. That can be negotiated. Especially for the one that puts frogs in my bed.
