Relationship Note on Salazar

Pirate Lord meandered into my shop to discuss payment for his commission. His silver-tongued personality is reminiscent of another person I know, but conversing with him was enjoyable. His wine ain't half bad either, but it's not whiskey.

Relationship Note on Fergus

I had a semi-brief meeting with the Prince - and to be honest I wasn't quite sure how it would go. Considering neither of us left The Spirits bloody or with missing teeth, I think it went well. Maybe he's not as bad as I initially thought. Fergus is a lot more of a behemoth up close than what he looks like at a distance...the distance was very deceptive. I need to order a little more fabric..

Relationship Note on Prospero

I don't particularly know the nobleman that well, considering I only just met him - but he gave a good first impression. I wouldn't be against socializing with Lord Fidante again.

Relationship Note on Salazar

I met this man earlier today while I was lounging about at Traders Tavern. Plentiful food, endless whiskey, and good conversation, then in came this guy. Reminds me a bit of Alrec. He's a seafaring man that seems kind of piratey - I can appreciate this. I get the feeling he might be a bit of a troublemaker, if the situation presents itself. Might prove to be a decent drinking buddy, too. Maybe this making friends thing won't be so hard.

Relationship Note on Tobias

I don't know the General particularly well, but he strikes me as an interesting man. It's curious, he and his band of mercenaries, they have this sort of mysterious intrigue about them. Though I'm more curious about how well-trained they are. Brawl, anyone? I'm game.

Relationship Note on Lydia

One of the younger siblings of the Nightgold family; I recollect her vaguely back in Farhaven, years ago when I stuck near Sherrod as best I could. She, in a much similar way, was (still is) serving as a Lady-in-Waiting to Drea - though I serve the noble family as a whole, at the time it was primarily Prince Sherrod. I don't know her particularly well, but she seems to be a pleasant, well-mannered lass with a bit of a mischievous streak. Then again..most of Redrain is like that..

Relationship Note on Darren

My meeting with the Ruling Prince was brief to say the least, but one thing was confirmed - he DOES exist. I had heard of him so often, yet never caught sight of him around Arx or the Villa. He wasn't quite what I expected - which in a way is good - I had been concerned as to what kind of man Darren is. I can see a bit of similarity between him and Kieran in a way - that smirky grin touched with impishness. I was a little apprehensive that he was going to be froofy and uptight, but he was easily approachable and mostly easygoing. Not what I expected at all.

Relationship Note on Alrec

Ah, the Admiral. What a very curious and intriguing man. He reminds me of my past, of the times before I was a Redrain Servant. It's kind of bittersweet, that. He was an unexpected surprise when I met him, and when I learned of the things we had in common. I don't talk to him as much as I'd like, and it feels like ages since we last had a proper chat. He and his crew stayed in The Spirits for a while, before going over to the Velenosan Ward. One of these days I'll have to get back in touch.

Relationship Note on Fergus

Ferg may not be -that- bad of a person, I think he just might be the kind of man that's really difficult to try and get to know. Or talk to. Things were settled, much to my surprise, and I received a small present. No one has given me a gift before, to my recollection. It left me a little shocked, but the earrings are very pretty and has my favorite everythings. Now I just need to find a really good bottle of whiskey...

Relationship Note on Caprice

Rumors swirl around Mistress Caprice as being quite renown with her work, and I hope I can see some of it one day soon. I was introduced to her by Princess Isolde as part of her business proposal - a collaboration of sorts, and I'm rather excited about working with her to see what the two of us can create. She knows her trade well, and I think I could learn a thing or two.

Relationship Note on Larissa

A warm and charming Whisper; she came into my shop just before Princess Isolde had departed and requested a bit of work. Left quite a good impression, I must say. Very kind and generous - I don't think I met a Whisper before, so that was new.

Relationship Note on Isolde

I had the pleasure of meeting Princess Isolde one day - a meeting planned after she wrote to me expressing her interest in a potential business proposal. Considering my curiosity was piqued, I could not very well turn her highness down. Very friendly and sociable noblewoman, I found her most kind and amicable - and she has a very, very shiny mask. It was very enjoyable to socialize with her, she's very outgoing so it was easy to speak freely. I look forward to working with her.

Relationship Note on Fergus

One of the slim few of the Redrain House that I really can't get along with - granted when I try, it typically ends in disaster. I thought Rohkir was a bit uptight and stuffy, Fergus just takes it to a whole other level. I'm not sure he has a sense of humor, at least not the kind I subscribe to. Seems to get along more with nobles than he does people like me, which is good for him, I guess. He's still a prickish asshole. Gods forbid I ever try to be sociable with the man, I might lose my head in the process.

When I lived in Farhaven, there was very little that crossed my mind when it came to my future, or things I wanted to do. It was simply to be the dutiful House Servant, to be of help and do what was required with all the ability and potential I had. Now that I'm in Arx, away from home, serving in the Villa - well, not much has changed. My goal remains the same, but now there is this happy distraction of my shop. If I was asked just but a few years ago if I'd ever see myself doing this now, I'd have just laughed. It's funny how things can change so rapidly, or how things can come into your path that you hadn't anticipated, but prove to be a blessing. It's a lesson in learning how to balance many things in ones life that might otherwise become hectic if one isn't careful, and being a seamstress as well as a servant does just that. It's finding that equilibrium between the two, where you can do both without being negligent to those that rely on you. I think that if things hadn't turned out this way, it might have not been a life lesson I would have learned, but that's all conjecture.

So, my shop - I couldn't be happier with it, and it's garnered the appreciation and praise of Princess Deva. It made me just a little proud that she was so delighted with it. It's been busy almost non-stop, commissions right and left - but I don't mind. I've been able to supply the Princess' Hildegard and Freja with attire, as well as Prince Rohkir and Captain Marcas. Some days back the Marquis Greenmarch showed interest in a commission, though our discussion was cut short. I do hope that an accord can be made. In the mean time, I think I'll try to get some proper wares on display, soon. There's this lovely concept I've got forming for a very spectacular gown...

Relationship Note on Rohkir

I met Prince Rohkir one night while I was strolling about the city, trying to find something to do or somewhere to go to occupy my spare time. My first impression of him was that he's a giant fuzzy bastard...yes I know that's awfully informal but - no, I'm not insinuating he's illegitimate, for fucks sake just write it down. Anyway, yes. Giant man clad in leathers and fur, as any proper Redrain man should be. He had only just arrived within Arx, making it here after a long journey from Farhaven. There were times throughout my association with the Prince that I wasn't sure we would get along. Sometimes we did, other times we were butting heads, but from that we formed a friendship. An understanding. Rohkir could at times be imposing and a bit intimidating - he was massive and muscled, let's not forget how tall he was, either. A full foot higher than me. It doesn't seem there was enough time. I guess it's true when people tell me life is short. I wonder what he'll do with the finery I made for him, I don't know if anyone else in the family matches his size. It greatly saddens me that the Prince has made his way back to the North, and I don't suspect I'll be making my way back home any time soon. I can only hope that he takes care and stays safe on his patrols or battles with the shav tribes up there. I know that I'll miss that bastard - stop trying to correct me, damn it. It's a fond name calling. He understood that. The villa won't be the same with him gone, but maybe someday if I'm ever sent back home I'll be able to harass him again.

Gareth Grayson... what a very, very awkward man. I can't decide whether to laugh at or pity his social ineptitude. His methods of bestowing compliments are brusque and aggressive, and I'm not certain if he knows how to conduct himself properly. Perhaps the Prince is just very shy and has difficulties expressing himself to other people. Why just the other day he was saying I was uncultured and a savage, and he even went to the extent of writing out his admiration for me. I wonder if he's aware of the saying that the more you're a detestable bastard to someone, the more indicative it is that you're quite taken with them. If the other day is any example to go by, he must like me A LOT. Ah, Prince Inquisitor, I'm afraid I can't return your affections. You're just not the man for me and I don't have time for that. You'll find your Princess, somewhere, someday.

It has come to my attention today that some nefarious servant has been frolicking about the estate grounds - more specifically, Lady Drea's garden. Bottles strewn about in an awful mess! Don't they know where the taverns are? Why, one servant was even seen taking a bath in the Princess' pool! (Note: Never set foot in the pool. Don't ever touch the pool. I swear I could see fire in my lady's eyes!) Those rambunctious troublemakers best hope I don't catch them, I'll give them a good wallop. (My Lady gave me permission, this is most fortuitous.)
