Relationship Note on Juliet
One of the many pleasures I get to experience as a Whisper is introducing foreign Nobility to the many splendors Arx can offer them. Lady Juliet was one such person as I was hired to escort her for a day and teach her of the various houses, who was who.. who was not.. and where to go. In my time with her I found a kindred spirit, I fear what we may accomplish if ever our two heads become one and set upon a prize.. the whole city may tremble.

Relationship Note on Kima
Oh Kima! Each time I've met her I've also been in the company of her brother Eos. It's so easy to fall into a happy pattern with their barbs and comfortable affection that you sometimes wonder if you haven't actually known them forever. And while I understand that often siblings tend to lose each other in the shadows the other casts... I've never felt this between Kima and her brother. They are an adorable duo - but Kima stands well on her own as a fascinating woman. She has a passion for what she does that should put any Knight to shame, an integrity and bravery to stand among the men of the world and make them question what honor is and to top it off she is a breathtaking beauty. I am lucky in the moments I get to share her company.

Often I feel like a Whispers Journal should be filled with lurid stories of glittering parties, clever anecdotes and scathing rumors and gossip. So I must beg forgiveness for those who look back upon my memoirs and find them dull. To be sure I live the life of dreams and I spend my every waking moment basking in the delight of one royal or another or some noble from such and such and they buy me pretty things and appoint me favors and secrets and little gossips that I thrive on... It's just that when I find myself in a reflective mood, so much of that glitter has been worn away and lost it's appeal.
That isn't to say that things of note don't happen for they do... ohhhhh they do. For instance I met the most curious creature I think I've ever known. Let us call him the Lord of the Boroughs and leave his name out of this. It isn't often that I am taken by surprise but when I am it is often met by unfailing admiration. The grammar that met me in the missive was wretched, the words broken and hard to read. Clearly a man of minimal learning, gruff and rough around the edges, I had expected something basic.. perhaps even nefarious... I had prepared myself to be insulted, disapointed and had a messenger waiting outside to run to the Inquisitor at any moment but instead I found that I was challenged, intruiged and humbled. I learned many lessons that day - more than simply not to judge a book by it's cover. Sometimes appearances are meant to be decieiving ...

I confesss, I turn to my journal not nearly as well as I should. Often my days blur into nights and nights blur into parties and booze and all the many masks I wear. And what truly consists of an evening spent with a Courtesan and Courtier of the court? At times I am called upon as friend and confidant and in those moments I am precious and those around me are cherished as I hold their hand and wipe tears and coax laughter and hold secrets well into my heart. I have the fortunate disposition to love easily, so dazzled am I by the beautiful faces, the glittering lights and the ringing bells of laughter that promises more to come. Always more. I am a glutton fed with cream and butter.
Other times, I am called upon to teach what I know in the ways of ettiqute, dancing, poetry and the small histories of our world I've put myself to memorize. With our mix cultures and people standing thick and sociable and awkward together in one city, it is important that the Whisper House lays the foundation of cohesian and cooperation.
That theme altogether prevails more often than not as we are called on to be diplomats, using our knowledge of the different cultures to usher along an understanding of minds who are all, in their own ways, working towards the same goals and the same end. It is my belief that to succeed what is coming, that electric crackling and oppressive weight that is settling warily upon us, we must look to each other and hone our own individual strengths. We balance each other out, for without darkness there would be no light and we are creatures who thrive in both.

Relationship Note on Acacia
I swear this woman is in the wrong line of work. Never have I met anyone more fitting to the Whisper House than she. She even had me swooning and that's no small feat. She is charming, articulate, kind, warm, gorgeous and mysterious enough to leave you always wanting more... Shall I go on? And she's promised to teach me how to defend myself against potentially aggressive clients. In me, she has made a friend and fan for life.

Relationship Note on Audric
I've heard rumors throughout the city of Captain General Audric and his flaming unicorn and the mercenary army he commands. It had been my intention to seduce him to the loyalty of the Whisper House - instead we discovered together that I cannot hold my whiskey and that compassion lurks in the unexpected and friendship is something that still holds merit and worth. I think I shall quite like calling this man my friend.

I never thought I would use the term Prince Charming and Thrax in the same sentence. Go figure. Prince Dagon carries himself with such undeniable charm it is always enjoyable to spend my evenings in his company.

It is rare that I am so impressed by someone as I am with the Princess Freja. She is all at once formidable, comfortable and elegant in a way that only the beautiful wilderness can be. It is my hope to know her better as time passes.

I have met with the Prince Inquisitor a few times now and each time I am left with a mix of feelings. None the less, my hopes are high with this one as I believe that we may need each other more than we realize one day. Let us hope that we can each see beyond the thin veils that hide us...

Relationship Note on Alrec
An unexpected and unplanned evening spent at the Hundred Cities Inn made me the acquaintance of this dashing, dangerous Admiral. I could not help but be flattered by the words and attention he bestowed upon me, nor intrigued by his ideals that have undoubtedly been tainted by the time he's spent upon Thraxian waters. I also cannot help but to be wary of him, as I must be with so many I meet these days. To be sure I shall be keeping an eye upon him...

Today held an unexpected delight for me as I made the acquaintence of Lady Margot Tyde. In her kindness and gracious heart I was so reminded of her cousin, my dear Queen Genevieve. Our path is early yet, but perhaps together we shall heal the wounds of heartache at her loss.

Relationship Note on Isolde
After months in Mourning the loss of Queen Genevieve, I finally made my debut return as a scion of the Whisper House. What a joy to have made this first step with non other than the Princess Mirrormask, herself. In one night I was reminded of the many beautiful joys a Whisper can behold. Thank you my beautiful Princess.
