The more that I settle into my role as Count of Caer Morien, the more I realise how much help and assistance I will be needing in progressing it forward. It is not a task to be achieved solely by myself.
There is a phrase 'No one is an island' that may apply here. Although perhaps 'No one is an Archipelago' may be more accurate here.
In any regards I shall be looking to others to work with me in establishing Magnotta and Caer Morien as names in the Compact.

Magnotta Manor, finally, is now properly supplied and ready for purpose as my home in the City after several years of being unused.
I have spent several hours just walking through the Manor, looking at the details and inspiration that has?come from the Cyrto Arch and I look forward to properly sailing back to Caer Morien to settle in there as well.

Notes on the Cyrto Arch - 3
The Cyrto Arch island chain is considerably isolated from the rest of the compact with the only means of travel to and from there being boat. Trade with the mainland will be of paramount importance here and well built caravels like the Tempest will be a reliable and fast way of delivery.

Relationship Note on Rawen
Princess Rawen Redrain has proved to be a truly interesting women as of yet.
Colourfully dressed and with striking mismatched eyes, she is not to be readily forgotten by any stretch of the imagination. Indeed her company has been very much appreciated over the last few days, with her drinking challenges, as well as her eagerness to learn new skills, have meant that she has been a refreshing delight in the City recently.

Notes on the Cyrto Arch - 2
There is an abundance of birdlife on the Cyrto Arch, such that is not found anywhere else in the Compact. Some have been captured and the shipped to the continent for peoples private collections. I am amazed people will spend so much for birds.
On tbe subject of potential trade goods there is a considerable amount of cocoa tree groves on Cyrto Major. Several people seem to have gotten quite excited when I tell them that fact. Perhaps I need to look into marketting this as a proper resource.

Caer Morien, the largest town on Cyrto Major (the largest isle in the Archipelago), has been built on top and amongst ruins that date back probably before the reckoning. Not much exploration has been done thus far although some recent forays have uncovered some tunnels.
Perhaps discussions with the Society of Explorers are needed to commission further exploration of both the islands and the ruins.

So Cyrto Major, the isle where Caer Morien stands, is abundant with lilies and cocoa tree groves. I'm not quite sure what benefit these will have at these present time.
Perhaps I will discover more as I settle into the role of Count Magnotta.

The Southport Bowl was a success and I would like to offer my congratulations to the winners. My cousin Fecundo and the pugilist Sydney.

I did not know her very well but I recall that she was astute and provided good council to me. It is clear that she was so much more that to many others. I hope that she lives on in the memories of those who knew her well.
