Relationship Note on Niamh

I honestly did not see this coming. Lady Niamh offered me a position as a deputy minister under her in Agriculture; I think better to access Petrichor's grace and wisdom and seek popular support for it, perhaps.

I'm seeking permission of my own from my own house before I accept. It's a great honor.

Relationship Note on Niamh

Chance encounter with my cousin, with whom I met Mistress Lyiana. Mistress Lyiana seems to be very nice and having my cousin in the city is always wonderful. She has plans to help me irk Fiachra. I can't wait for this to happen!

Relationship Note on Niamh

I'm pretty sure my mother wishes I would be more like my sister. She does well by her title and has been here in Arx ahead of me by three years, making a name for herself and the Greenwood.

She still won't fall for my pranks and still rolls her eyes at my jokes. At least her elk still likes me better.

Relationship Note on Niamh

The Lady Niamh has graciously offered both her own hand in friendship and that of her clan; I think, how it was phrased, that's a great honor, and certainly I reacted as though it were. The ways of the Valardin are quite strange to me, though.

Our agreement; for five hundred silver per banking session (Why is that every three weeks? Stupid banks) and the promise of support once a month in a minor endevour, once a season I shall train the war elks of their stables.

Oh, those war elks! Thick pelted, many-horned. Wonderful creatures, as a dire deer might be, were they as loyal as horses and sturdy as a badger. Admittedly, I'd not race that rack through a forest, but I can envision the terror a row of them would cause as they thundered across the snow towards you.

Why did Niamh laugh when I said that?

Relationship Note on Niamh

Niamh Greenmarch, the Sword of Greenmarch. She is cut from the same cloth as her cousin Princess Marian and she is a stark reminder that despite all our differences with the prodigal house, we are alike in the ways that matter. She seems possessed of a sincere desire to leave the world a better place than it was when she found it. I believe she can, and I hope she continues to remind us that the differences we wear on our sleeves mean nothing in the light of the honor we hold in our hearts.
