We rowed up the Grey River, intermittently fished, and took up multiple crates with prepared supplies from the Defense Laboratory (Arx) to my alchemy/apothecary/security/survival shop "Copper and Tellurium" which is still thriving in Cascade Springs (the Halfshav township built up around the Great Northern Shrine of Mangata).
I am beyond blessed and so lucky that I always have so many fantastic people as hired help at both busy locations. Thank you for all you do.
The living area (above said shop) conveniently serves as a temporary home for our vacation stay, the colder weather is so nice, and the Love of my Life and Sir Floppington are right here with me, too. So wonderful!
[ @Arx : On Honor Walk Central, the back yard behind the Defense Lab is apparently operating even now with all those Bibacious Assistants and Teetotalling Gardeners continually working on their respective projects. ]

Please, do not be alarmed when I do not do as I usually do at parties, since my diet is changing. Plain teas. Plain water. No bread. No dessert. No fruits (besides berries which originate North of Arx). Thank you for understanding!

I certainly agree. I am all for helping out when people are willing to strive for what they want, and work as much as they are reasonably able, while those who work harder than the rest are rewarded for doing so.
I am beyond blessed with a full lab of wonderful assistants, a genius protege, and helpful gardeners. I only hire people who will work. Sometimes, there are those people who are in a rough spot. Helping them out with a little boost is also good, especially if they just need that extra step to finally thrive.
As for the Lowers issue, I wholeheartedly agree with what my liege lord has already written before.
It is unfortunate that people learn envy, but rewarding them during the time when they are being envious only positively reinforces it. Properly planning and specifically timing how you give is equally important.
Just giving (up) to a grouchy jerk because he guilt trips me? Not happening.
Should that outreach program happen, I would be interested in assisting, but until then: if you know someone with an interest in alchemy or gardening who might be barely scraping by or too new to get hired elsewhere but would work, please let them know they can write me.
I have plenty irons in the fire at the Defense Lab. They can watch and learn, and I always have dinner. (Plus, Sir Floppington & Squire Clovis are here for pettening purposes, and we certainly have a good deal of random fun here.)

I told the girl to hush because her Lord was napping
She told me I snored and I was like to die that day
I said hush woman don't you know I give you pay
Stubborn as the north wind this one had been
She hushed up but followed me around like my own twin
I finally cracked I asked her what is it?
She shook her head, no speaking permitted!
Back then she was young as a pup looked like a boy
So I gave her an order, tell me a good story
If you do I'll give you a fine position
Little did I know she took it as a commission!
That's how I met her, my best retainer

In the alchemy laboratory, I whipped up New Shampoo with cedar scents from the woodsy areas around Cascade Springs for Sir Floppington: he is so sleek!
Thank you to my Lovely Patron for kindly introducing me to His Majesty. Meanwhile, I carefully consider potential proteges of my own these days.
Thank you to Mistress Petal for graciously hosting the Lilies and Prayers at the Lodge of Petrichor. On Honor Walk, Nextdoor Neighbors and I have been carefully transplanting the lily plants which were given away into our respective gardens. They are so lovely!
Meanwhile, Mistress Lottie has been baking up Northern-style treats which are absolutely amazing! Thank you so much! (She, too, has a lovely garden.)
