Sometimes I'm tempted to climb up into the bell tower and yell, to shout to Arx just how amazing and talented Josie is. She never ceases to amaze me with her work, how intricate it is, how beautiful. Each piece truly is a work of art, and I think it would be a nice thing, someday, for there to be a gallery just for her. For all her work to be displayed for the world to see. Generation after generation. She would deserve it, the world's best jeweler.

I rarely ever comment on anything in a public manner. I mostly keep my thoughts to myself, but the fuckery I've read today has prompted me to say something. I heavily disagree with this matter regarding Vowkeeper, as the Sword of Farhaven. What happened to Bliss was shitty, but to think one is entitled to the House Sword of a noble family is beyond ludicrous. Everard, the traitor, had no right or place to bet the family heirloom blade on a duel. None. No place at all. It's just not done. It was wrong. To demand a noble house to give you their FAMILY sword, though? Hahahahaha. No. It should stay with their family, in their fealty, where it belongs, duel or no duel, but that's just my two silver on the matter.

Ah haaaaaaaaaa. I like this woman, definitely need to meet her. That's kind of how I envision us both when we're old and gray. Think she'd give lessons on creative uses of swearing? I'm keenly interested. I daresay it's an artform. Sounds to be the sort I'd happily get drunk with, but she might be too advanced in her age for that.

It isn't for everyone. Some hate the cold. Hate the snow. Hate the ice. I find it beautiful. I enjoy the seasonal changes, of their cycles, and it reminds me of the Northlands - though it's far milder here than it is up in Farhaven. I will confess an eagerness to autumn, it's also one of the more lovely times of the year, with the leaves changing colors, but I'm still partial to winter.
I mean, it doesn't sound as if you could go wrong with maple bacon muffins, and I can't disagree with what Vance said, really, but...bacon does go well in damn near everything. Pancakes, waffles, scones...I think I hear Josie's kitchen calling my name for a raid.
Can't blame your dislike if you were stuck out in the cold all night, but I imagine it has left with you a bit of caution when asking for another person's bacon. On another hand, no one's going to toss the High Lord out of his own keep if you do.

It had been far too long since we last had a sit down and chat, and I'm glad that we were able to do so this evening. We've got a lot of catching up to do. Your presence had been missed in the ward, as well as your glorious sense of humor. I'm happy that you're back home, now - Taran too!
I hadn't seen the little Prince in quite a while, now he's walking about, babbling, looking like a miniature Darren (he'll be getting that beard any day now, right?). Don't think I'll forget the wee thing shouting, "Mo!". It was so stinking adorable, and the first word I've heard him say. Think I need to give that plushie a washing, though, I've never seen so much toddler slobber.
