Not enough whiskey on this world for managing training myself physically and studying. I'll focus on one at a time. This month seems to be physical training-oriented, though.

A lot has been happening. Between studying, transcribing books and attending meetings, there has been scarcely any time to breathe. I'm going to need more whiskey at this rate.

Sometimes you confide in someone. You never know why you do it, and you wonder if you made a mistake in the end, but your heart is lighter for it. They tell you something in exchange, sometimes, or offer to help you with what worries you. Always look for someone who earnestly seeks to help you. On the other hand, I ran out of whiskey, and I'm still pouring over these military strategy books.

Relationship Note on Emilia
She's my friend. She confided in me. Am I really worthy? She's an incredible fighter, and I know in my heart she'll become a hero. I only wish she stopped talking about dying. Few of us have as much chance for greatness as she does. And yeah, I told her that I wanted to be a scholar. Perhaps I should have said that in a lower tone. Still, I'll be strong for her.

I've arrived in the city of Arx for almost a week today. It has been an eventful week, full of news, revelry and sparring. So much sparring. I've met quite a few personages I'd like to become closer to, in order to watch their exploits. I've also joined two organizations and intend on doing right by them. There's a lot to be done, still, in regards to my improvement, both in the realm of combat and in the realm of becoming a scholar. In fact, the latter is rather far away than I'd expected, still, but I'm learning. I will fulfill my dreams.
