There is a strength about his woman and I like it. I also like the fact that she works around my brother, Rymarr. I very much look forward to meeting with her in the future, passing back and forth ideas, and perhaps even coaxing her to relinquish some of her knowledge to me.

Refugee or not refugee. These are issues that those in control of their assets should be dealing with and no one else. Their decisions are their own and should be respected as such. If the wrong decision is made, then there is a choice to be had from the outside, but not a moment before.
My own holding is at the tip of the central prong of the Lycene, bound to not see very many of these refugees if any. However, I can fully understand why they would be welcome in their escape from the Bringers. We could get into a debate about their beliefs and be vetting them to bend the knee, but that detracts from what is really important. If they are willing to abide the law and contribute to the land for the benefit of all, then they are absolutely welcome.

I know that my ideas on things are different, my lord, but you'll find that if you humor me and allow me to show you my point of view; we will be fast allies. In expanding Lyonesse holdings, we expand yours as well and offer up the Oathlands the opportunity to flourish under the helm of our direction. I hope our upcoming conflict will bear fruit as well, perhaps giving up a much needed victory and vital information.

Oh sister, how the times have indeed changed and the carefree nature we once enjoyed, dashed upon the timely hourglass sands. We must stay strong, together. I hope you don't lose sight of this. I can come off shrewd and assertive at times, but only in the best interest of our House.

It's nice to have my sister around again. She arrived a few days after myself to Arx and already I can feel the difference. She's always been gifted with the Voice, able to deal with people and conjure up admiration even from the most dismal depths. It's something that I've often admired about her. I'll admit that my mind begins to become exhilarated when I think about how much she will be able to help our House, to return it to its former glory right along side myself.

How interesting, this turn of events. Naught more than hours after my arrival, back in the city of Arx, and Valardin is already in need of my assistance. Regrettably, it concerns the Lady Dawn and a most horrid assault that has left the lady missing after quite the fall. It seems that Cristoph Laurent has need of me as well and it would be wise to offer the full services of House Lyonesse to his cause.

Trouble brews throughout Arx. Disturbing rumors and heavy gossip of conspirators. This, embellished by the news of Archduchess Esera's fall. Soon, matters of the house will come into play. I must make sure to aspire to grant my line the best opportunity possible to re-establish what was once a bright brilliant beacon of glory and honor.

It's been a long time, brother. I wonder who you are now, what you think of me. I feel like we never got to know one another growing up, there were too many things that were more important. Maybe we can start again, as many battles have come and gone; Here I still stand, the rock you entrusted with the future of the family. How I loathed and loved you so for the burden.
