I leave the city and say to myself: 'Delia, there's a whole world out there for you to see! This will be an adventure anyone would pay highly to read about!'
And when I arrive at my destination, I say to myself: 'Delia, what did you think, that anywhere else can quite compare to Arx? Where else are the best parties? The best secrets? The best company, fashion, food and fine wine?'
And when I come home, I say nothing to myself, because I am too delighted for my words to express. The best of my friends are here and I am so glad to be back with them all.

Dearest Darling Journal,
I was gifted with the most amazing seasilk grown!
It is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my whole life... I am torn between wanting to wear it every second of every day to being terrified to so much as crease the soft fabric.
For now I shall just hang it in my room where I can see it and wait for the most perfect opportunity to show it off the public for the first time.
Oh.... and I learned that going down a hill in the snow sitting on a flimsy piece of wood can be delightful fun! Must try again!

Rubbish! Everything in my wardrobe is rubbish! It makes me feel sad just peering into it.
Clearly the only way to resolve that terrible feeling in my stomach is to burn it all and start over.
Fortunately Miss Aurora has come up with a style that promises to make me shine as I ought to! But what shall I wear with it... I have no jewelry that will match this lovely ensemble.
Oh dwelling on it brings back that terrible feeling again so I shall not. Instead I will hope and pray to the good gods that some kind soul remedies my fashion crisis before it becomes too great an issue!
