Kritr has abdicated and left Clearlake in my hands. I only hope that I will do the family proud with things. I have a few things in the works, but I'm going to take it at a steady pace so that we don't fall into a tangle of too many things. May the Spirits and Gods guide my actions and show me when I'm being too selfish with things if that should happen. I owe them both thanks for my former Baron having the faith to leave me with the Barony and it's future.

I saw a horse sized spider that was wearing a party hat at The Spirits.

I was not drunk. I saw it with one of the Nox'alfar with hair the color of moonlight. The spider's name was Charlotte and as odd and as terrified as I felt inside I gave the benefit of the doubt to the man and his...mount. I even bid Charlotte a good night as people walked by shrieking as the caught the shining eyes of a huge spider staring down at them.

Relationship Note on Morgan
I had the pleasure of meeting Lord Morgan Seliki today and I have to say he lifted my spirits with his banter and talking with myself and Lady Brianna. I hope to see him around the Redrain Ward more or I might have to go visit the Grayson Ward and see him and this 'Dance of the Pearlspire' that he is talking about so much.

I think I'd like to try my hand at learning the sword a bit more. But there's always been things that needed tending to before personal wants. Maybe in the next few months I'll get back to my training.

I've went out on a limb and decided to do my first auction since coming to the city. I'm hoping that it goes well. I'm also hoping that we have a good turn out for this years Winter Festival for Clearlake. I've been trying to make sure the plans are set, but I always feel like I'm doing either too much or too little.

Relationship Note on Preston
I met with Sir Preston today about a project that we are working on. I didn't feel any anxiousness about the meeting given he'd been so very kind to me in previous messengers. When I met him face to face I could tell that he was a good man. He doesn't have the easiest of jobs and I'm sure the road is stressful, but I look forward to assisting him and the Templars.

Baron Kritr has made me a Voice of the House, while some might think it's a chore, I do not. I was sent to Arx to make sure that Clearlake prospers and to make sure that we make a good go of joining the compact. I would hope that we are at least making some headway with that. I've started to focus more on what might be good for the House in a number of things. Hopefully we'll see how it goes over time.

The Clearlake Archery Tournament was a success and I cannot wait to hold another one. I think this next time though I will do it in the Clearlake Archery Grounds that I have a plan for. It will be devoted to Archery and I think we'll have competitions more often just to keep the Compact's archers in good shape. It would also be a fantastic place for people to meet and learn archery if they don't know it.

I am always happy to see the ties that are made by betrothals, some might say I'm a hopeless romantic, but I try to keep a clear head on things. I do wish that I might find something again. As it has been so long since the man I thought I would marry went on his adventures. Time will tell. For now, I'll just sit back and be happy for those that are uniting and giving them my congratulations.

Relationship Note on Joscelin
I have a confession to make, I spent a bit of silver on myself for my birthday and purchased a pair of gold earrings with emeralds and the absolutely gorgeous pale Seliki pearls from the Atelier. When I was a child I could only dream of owning something so wonderous. Now it's a reality and I thank The Guildmaster for making such a wonderful piece of jewelry. I will most definitely be back for another when I have an occasion to celebrate.

I will be 25 in just a few days. I'm approaching my second Winter here in Arx, but this time it is without the warmth of my friend. I think that it's time to move on, as I can't really wait around forever living on just hopes and dreams. Clearlake needs me to be strong and to keep moving forward, so I think that is what I'm going to do. Move forward.

I feel as though what I have done so far here in Arx is still not good enough. I feel like there is something else I'm meant to do. I'm hoping that I will find what that is, or find something else to help with.

Relationship Note on Cadern
In reading Lord Cadern's entry to the latest Whites I have found out that Triton has returned to the North. It leaves me sad, but life must continue on. I will still work with House Ravenseye and I still enjoy Lord Cadern and Lord Danvir's company when I catch them. I look forward to future endeavors with them. The heart will heal. There are other things to attend to at the moment and I'm sure that I'll find someone in the future. Or Triton should he return some day. Who knows what the future holds.

I was happy with the turn out that we had for the Prodigal's Meet and Greet. I think I might see about doing this during each season. We'd also open it up so even non Prodigals could attend and ask questions. As I realized that with Duke Malcolm attending tonight and a few others that we need to be more inclusive in these times. I had a wonderful time hosting.
