More than the Telmar Tower has new activity. Of our vassals, too, others return to the City. The latest of them is Marquessa Dominique Wyrmguard, the ruler of our loyal friends in Blancibier. Her people were lucky to have her home, but I am glad to have her back in the Capital.

Like his brother, Gregor is kept at arm's length by the Maquessa. Not as vocal as his brother was with the disdain of the alliance with Darkwater, Gregor to those who know him wasn't too fond of the idea. Of course, The Chillhearted isn't fond of much these days, so he treats it as he treats the rest of what doesn't like, deal with it.

Relationship Note on Dominique
Kept at arm's length by the Marquessa, Frederik never held her ill will for it, due to the Steelhart's long history of kinslaying. However, when the alliance with the Darkwaters was made news, Frederik was very outspoken against it. Despite this, the Steelharts are loyal to their leige to a fault, and the eldest dog of war is no different.

Relationship Note on Dominique
The Marquessa Dominique Wyrmguard had commissioned me to make her a sword some time ago, but our paths didn't manage to cross after that much. That changed this evening when I happened to see her when I went to the training center. She has some stunning new armor and we ended up sparring so she could break it in a bit. I got to fight the sword I made! And perhaps I should stop getting excited about the challenge of fighting sword-wielders with my fists, but there's just something great about trying to dodge swipes of steel. The Marquessa is quite skilled and fast, oaths and steel! Overall, it was a great bout and I am glad our paths met once again - with plans made to have them do so more!

I met Marquessa Dominique at the Training Center and we had a sparring match. She is skilled with a weapon, and definitely seems to have some ability with combat. I hope to talk to her further in the future.

Relationship Note on Dominique
I finally got the chance to meet with Marquessa Dominique after she arrived in the city of Arx a short time ago. I am fairly certain the last time I had seen here we were both serving as squires. I certainly had not seen her since before the Tragedy of Sanctum. I wanted to tell her how much her father's sacrifice meant to our family and how many he saved. I could tell talking about it was tearing open an old wound and I feel terrible about that, but I also think it was important for hear to hear it from me. She has her father's eyes and I can see his determination in her. In a way it is as if he is still with us through her and through her brother Lord Damon.
