I find Duke Asger Crovane to be an interesting and humourous man with a good head on his shoulders. I've greatly enjoyed the friendship we have created and look forward to stronger bonds between Redrain and Crovane as time marches on.

The Duke is as jovial and pleasant as I remember! Diddanwch is as rascally and adorable as ever, though I feel there was some rebuke in his greeting for being gone so long. I shall have to make it up to him with a treat.
Now where to spread my furs... there was that small copse of trees in the ward. What? What did I say? Have you never spent a night out under the stars, scholar? You should consider it, you are as pale as the snowcaps on the mountains back home. Some sunshine might do you good!
Now where was I? Oh right! Yes, I look forward to serving Duke Crovane however I best am able!

Asger is an interesting tower of a man, all muscle and scars, he's a formidable warrior. One that I've heard by reputation may well be one worth having at your side. He's rough spoken, enjoys drinking and gambling, and is, really, the last kind of man that I ever would see myself spending a great deal of time with.
So, why is it that I cannot stop thinking of him, and when he requests my company, I am so quick to accept? Why do I enjoy his company when he is so contrary to everything that I've ever surrounded myself with? His diversions from my normal duties have become a regular routine to break up the ordinarily heavy days. A little bit of levity goes a long way, and I truly need that in my life right now.
Although from a practical standpoint, he is a militarily conscious man, and one whom I enjoy the company of. If I must change my plans for my future, he could be a most welcome part of my future.
So, why is it that I cannot stop thinking of him, and when he requests my company, I am so quick to accept? Brazen and flattering words, with a confidence in his skills that have lost him three wolf pelts so far. I will expect them to be delivered to me soon. Trophies can only be worn if won in battle afterall, it'll warm me through the winter.

I think he is my friend. I think too, that I am his. There aren't many men who would tell me that I'm ugly, but he did. I don't believe it for a minute, but it was nice of him to say so.

If ever there was a man to embody the wilds of the Northlands, he is it. Loud and cheerful, raucous and rowdy and even a bit ribald, his love of whiskey (or liquor of all sorts really) is practically legend.
He has quickly become the dearest of friends and my favored drinking companion.
