Relationship Note on Jophiel
Today's sparring proved interesting and a crowd pleaser! What was unexpected was the banter, but it was lovely!
My favorite line, from Lord Faruq, was about all the Ladies surrounding him, watching him spar. And he called out a few, referring to Lord Jophiel as Lady!
And, without missing a beat, "Lady" Jophiel had to fan "herself" when I promised to come and get "her" after I beat the ol' pirate down!
It was all in good fun and I got away with calling the Corsair Lord a pirate.
It was a good day! And best yet, I won the right to be part of the crew on his ship and hunt OTHER pirates!

A lost and found expedition turned into a rescue mission.
The original child was found, alive, as well as two others - a boy and an old man.
It felt good to find the girl, but even better to stop a cult from sacrificing others in the name of their Gods. Nothing good can come of such activities.

Relationship Note on Domonico
When sparring, can a girl take pride in defeating her opponent when she is in armor and he is not?
The sparring did last quite a-many rounds. Perhaps it is a true testament to Domonico's skills that he was able to withstand my attacks.
And, after all, I came away exhausted, he did not.
Something to strive for.

An interesting conversation with the King himself has led me to believe that there is truth in the saying that history repeats itself.
Or is it: if we forget history, we are doomed to repeat it.
Whatever the case may be, his Majesty believes that there is evidence that the War of Stolen Names may be repeating as we speak. This gives me something to work on, something to truly study and understand.
Learn more about the original War of Stolen Names and understand what happened and how and why, perhaps. Then, perhaps, something can be done about what is going on now.

It's funny how things work out.
For so long, I knew my brother was the peacock in the family, showing off his feathers for all to see.
Then, there was the masq ball and my cousin, Duchess Grazia, lent me her peacock costume. I knew I would never hear the end of it from Fecundo. And, such was the case. He enjoys teasing me mercilessly about it.
The joke's on him, however. I won second runner-up in the costume contest. My prize? Leather armor.
He will still always be the true peacock in the family.
