I'm the Officiator of the Menagerie, which means, in basic terms, I'm purposed to care and upkeep of those facilities in our City. I am looking for help in what I've dubbed the "revitalization project of the menagerie." Maybe there might be interest in forming a council or a society to do such things? I would certainly like a group to work with, to discuss the future of the area! It's for everyone's enjoyment and I think people should be involved if they like to be! That's what the fundraiser is about, to start on the process of collaboration. I'm one person!
I'm looking at making sure there are more places of comfort for people to enjoy the Menagerie at (place items!), certainly upgrading the exhibit pens and enclosures (more place items), and opening up the area to include a center for training, for education, for gatherings (rooms!) and doing a face lift to the area in general (descriptions!)...
Marquessa Samantha, Lord Estaban, Malik Whisper, and a few others have already come forward expressing interest to help! I'm thankful that I'm not the only one who believes that our animals are important too. Thank you for your contributions so far!

I'm honored to be accepted as the Officiator of the Menagerie.
It's a position that means so much to me. It puts my passions to use. I had since considered the fall out I witnessed from the siege and knew I must play a more active role in contributing to animal health and wellness in the city. I witnessed more than a few animal companions left without handlers and home, as well as those animals saved from the Gray Forest. I felt, the menagerie needed to be more than a public space to witness exotic animals, but a place, where all with interests in animals can freely collaborate.
Since I arrived in Arx, my ambitions were to see the menagerie transformed into a more grand place then it currently is and while the current conditions aren't entirely lacking, they need a little help, specifically when it was noted how many wild animals were brought in and quartered there. Now, I'm overseeing the park! I received official word this morning, how my heart moves with excitement!
While I had hoped to establish a group for this endeavor, sometimes it is better to spirit such initiatives in more sure footed ways. I will hope other people will support this grand task and attend the fundraiser being held for it, so that we can all enjoy it later!
I'll be excited to work with anyone who has ideas for the architecture and designs to revitalize the area. I hope to include an amphitheater to the grounds, to act as a place where people can collaborate and train their animal handling and animal companions freely, as well as it being a place for animal experts to host clinics and demonstrations. I have other plans too, but, you'll have to come to the fundraiser to hear it!

My words may not have meant much to everyone who I wrote, but I feel the ones that responded to me are the true reason I fought today. We won. I knew we would. I spent my final hours after the battle in celebration with those I cherish and those who cherished me most. I am content with that. With the special few. You know who you are.

I couldn't believe it. He used my suggestion for his heraldry. I am humbled. I am honored. I am awed. I couldn't be happier to have been there for him when he got the keys to his manor house. I was so excited for him! There are plans for decorating! This will be so much fun. He also agreed to let me drag him to get his first portrait as Baron Silas Whitehawk, I recommended Brother Branan! We'll see if he he as the time.
Silas is a friend I know I'll have for life, as he values my thoughts and opinions. I would be lost in Arx without him!

When I awoke, and I think I only slept for an hour before those nightmares awoke me again...
I read all the missives that came to me over my last journal entry...
Writing when you're tired... is dangerous....
Still, I take heart in the few friendships I do have. I thought to share the one letter which makes me regret and wish I could recant my words. I've rewritten the letter it in my hand to promote the power of each word told to me.

I have kind people who will bring to me information from archives of journals that I might find of interest. I have asked them to let me know of yours when they are availed. I have seen one about mirrors. I wanted to tell you something important. Something I wish for you to remember when you look upon your reflection and hear the words of others.
You are sweet, kind, sensitive, and tender. I do not know about soft. You are not weak, a push over, fragile, nor a coward, and certainly not a disappointment to me.
Do not protest, for I have seen you be hit with a chair, a body, and fall from a balcony. These things prove that you are not fragile or weak, as a man who was would be like oats left in water too long, mush. I have seen you tell me to take cover to keep safe while you brought up bow to strike at numerous monsters. This proves you are no coward at all. You spoke loudly, stood your ground, were prepared to give your all to protect others. You are not mouse, nor prey. You are a strong man that I am fortunate to know.You are sweet, and that sweetness has made me smile. You are kind, and that kindness has made me feel welcomed. You are sensitive, and that sensitivity has allowed us to find connection and friendship. You are tender, and that tenderness makes me feel closer to you than I do to many others.
Prince Aiden, I am not with you at all times. But in the moments I have been, I promise you, when I look upon you, I see only someone I wish to be in company of more often. You have made me feel safe and give me joy, and I hope that the man I know as friend Aiden never disappears.

For weeks, I haven't slept well. Each night I reflect upon my time.
At last, I thought, I'm getting somewhere. I'm making friends.
I thought, I am getting ahead. Aren't I?
Then, I look in the mirror.
He is unchanged. He is the same.
Sweet. Kind. Sensitive. Tender. Soft...
I hear these words repeated by those around me... and I think...
I know what they're really saying...
Weak. Push over. Fragile. Coward. Disappointment.
Mouse... Easy prey...
Is it true? Am I so easily weakened and preyed upon?
I relive my last few days. I think, it must be true.
I am all of these things.
And I stare at my reflection and know.
He must break. He must disappear.
I will miss having a mirror.
