12 Thrax Elite Guards, Crow - Thraxian Steward, Lilybelle - Fluffy Maine Coon arrive, following Victus.

Mydas looks upon those gathered for the game and smiles. "Welcome, those of you who've chosen to come and participate to a new kind of game, one that will combine your abilities to think strategically as much as making use of diplomacy and manipulation."

"The core of the game is simple, you will each be given a land which you control. Within the following six rounds, you must ensure your land thrives and the ones of your rivals does not. To achieve this, each round, you must make a choice to attack one of your rivals. This attack can take the form of a military action, an attack through intrigue, or an economical attack. If you're successful, you will gain an 'edge'. This 'edge' is what you need to accumulate to win. The one with the most 'edge' is the winner of the game. Should you choose not to attack anyone, you will not garner any 'edge'."

"You may also choose, as well as attacking someone, to help another. This aid can come in the form of military aid, shadow aid, or economical aid. In effect, aid allows another player protection from a single attack. If two attack the same player, and you are the only one to aid them, that player still suffers an attack. If an attack gets through, you gain one disaster. If you gain three, you are eliminated from the game entirely, no matter how many 'edge' you earned previously."

Mydas pauses, to make sure all have followed. "Any questions thus far?"

"Yes, what am I doing here?" Freja cracks a terrible joke as she stands beside Mydas, apparently having accidently coordinated umbra with his own. At least the rubicund and stygian diadem with its frosty shapes sets her apart. "Name your territory, rule as you wish. Just know, only one can hold the crown at the end so choose your actions wisely. There is no means of winning through brute strength alone."

Flowing through the doorway came the ragged form of the Thraxian High Lord, a leather hand nursing the side of his head. His stewardess backs him up with a bottle of water held aloft in the case he'd need it. Victus' first action as soon as he arrives is to stand directly behind Freja and give her a none-too-gentle slap on the back. "You give up spirits for strategy games?" He chortled toward her, half-stepping and half-stumbling away to settle his body against a nearby wall to watch the proceedings unfold.

Serenity arrives, following Khanne.

Mira has arrived quietly, wearing a black and red dress under a jacket that clasps at the throat and opens up in a window over her chest before buttoning securely again down her stomach. She's wearing sheer umbra stockings with faint red embroidery down the back seams as well, along with with a black silk choker about her throat with a dull red stone at the center. Her hands are clasped together below the waist, and she nods quietly at Mydas' explanation. Her hair is braided down her back, with two arched bangs above her brass-framed glasses.

Turo has no idea really why he's here. Might've heard there's going to be a game of some sort, and Navegant has a secret joy of games. Usually the military kind, but he'll try anything once. Moving into the great hall with the steady steps of a military man, he carefully eyes over the rules of the game. "So, not exactly a war simulator." he considers, pondering his options. "Fascinating."

"If you have a wish to compete, please step forward." Freja tacks on with a vague wave of her hand in a circle.

Mira steps forward at the call, her umbra and seasilk dress flaring slightly where it ends at her knees, with gossamer, see-through strands hanging lower to her ankles.

Khanne walks into the Great Hall, dressed in a lovely gown of grey, white, and green silk that flows around her legs and clings to her upper body, artfully cut to reveal pale limbs, not for seductive purposes, but because of the heat of Arx. She doesn't move far into the room at first, misty-grey eyes looking over the crowd to see who she might now, and what might be happening.

Lydia is already sitting in a wine-red wingback chair beside the hearth, looking absolutely plucky with all of this. She fidgets in her seat, beaming with excitement at the various individuals that are walking in through the main doors and into the Hall. When prompted, she rises - bounces up, really - and steps forward. "Sounds like I will lose, hopelessly so. Let's do this!"

Lianne, quiet lurker all in evergreen, steps forward once rules are set and a call for participants is made. Bright eyes scan the others, counting her opposition and allies, one and the same, while a delicate smile plays upon her lips. That smile grows for a few familiar faces, most notably Lydia and Khanne, though she says nothing just yet. Surely scheming. Trust a Pravus to always be scheming.

Victus steps forward into the circle, chugging that bottle of water he'd brought with him until it was just a husk. His hangover wouldn't prevent him from having some fun today. "Fuck it, put me in too." He called toward his hosts.

1 Redrain novice guards arrives, following Kieran.

Mydas smiles upon seeing Lianne, Lydia, Mira and Victus step up. "Excellent! Do we have anyone else interested, or shall we begin?"

While not in umbra, Fiora's black and gold silk gown seems to fit the overall theme. She stands at Mydas' side, opposite of Freja so the two women flank him, her hand tucked into the crook of his elbow. Smiling faintly at the gathered guests, she doesn't seem to be participating, but is certainly looking forward to seeing how the game plays out! Lydia and Khanne both get subtle smiles and nods from the Malvici noblewoman. Her icy blue eyes jumping from person to person and noting who steps forward to join the game.

Melinda looks over to Victus and she laughs a little before she looks to the Game, "I will enter the game.." she calls in a deep husky voice.

It did look like Turo was going to stand and watch, the Navegant seems to be one that is the more cautious type. Always patient, always willing to watch until the moment strikes him. But, eventually, after a moment of thought, he shrugs, stepping forward as well. Why not.

Kieran manages to sneak in as the rules are being explained and after a few moments of consideration, he raises his hand and waves it back and forth slightly. "Yes, i think I shall attempt to flail about and entertain."

Khanne notices Lianne's smile and she gives one in return, lifting her hand to wave to the Pravus before greeting the others she knows (which is most, but not all there) with a similar smile and wave. "I think I will just watch tonight. I'll find someone to cheer for." She does walk closer to the group to do so.

"Excellent." Mydas nods. "Very well. I shall now give the lands each of you will control. As we are now seven players, the game shall take place within the Compact itself." A pause. "Prince Victus Thrax, you will rule the Lyceum. Lady Lianne Pravus will have the Oathlands. Mistress Mira Matessi shall have the Mourning Isles. Duchess Lydia Nightgold shall have the Crownlands. Lord Turo Navegant will have the North. And finally, Prince Kieran Redrain will have the Faith. Lady Melinda Grimhall? You will have Eurus."

"Ah, and keep in mind you cannot use the same method each round. There must be at least one round between each attempt for a military effort. A predictable leader is a bad leader."

Mira just remains silent as she waits for the challengers to present themselves. The redheaded lawyer of Merchant Road glances over as Kieran steps up, nodding to the Master of Revels, and to Turo when he approaches as well. Victus gets a cautious glance when it's announced that she will be defending the Mourning Isles, however.

With a puff of exhaled air, Lydia, narrows her eyes - supersneaky - and she scans the narrow field of competitors. "Hmm," she draws out. While simultaneously offering a wiggle of her fingers to wave at the others that have smiled back at her. "The Crownlands shall adore me as their fearless and peerless crown."

The High Lord blinks in surprise at being handed the Lyceum of all things. Victus' eyes fall to the board, his calloused hand slowly hovering in front of himself. This was a very bad idea. Very, very bad. "Ahhh.... Whatever." He grumbles, his brow knitting.

Kieran grins to Khanne and grins, "I would put you on my team. You can distract my enemeies, and, when they come for me, you can stand between us and take the blows." He turns his attention to Mydas as the territory is assigned. "You give the Faith to the least religious person here? I think this bodes poorly for me."

Khanne turns to Kieran with a frown and furrowed brow. "You must take me for some sort of fool. I certainly wouldn't cheer for someone who chose to then use my skinny ass as a shield. I also wouldn't make a good shield."

"Now that you have our lands, how will you rule them? You must choose one house to attack, but the optional is choose some to 'ally' or protect if you wish." Freja says with a ghost of a smile playing at the edge of her lips as she looks to those in this social battle royale. "You have ((ooc: 10 minutes)) to speak amongst yourselves, to try politics and play your hand."

"Good luck," Lianne chuckles to Victus when he's handed the reins to the Lyceum. It's a better pairing than giving the Oathlands to a Lycene lady, but she draws her shoulders straight and holds her head high as her own parcel is doled out. "As shall we all," comes with a shallow bow for Lydia. Looking to the trio at the head of the map, as it were, she asks, "And we can do both in one round, aid and attack? Required to do the latter, permitted to also perform the former?"

Kieran chuckles to Khanne, "Don't sell yourself short. I am sure you would take at least two sword strikes to down. Every second counts while fleeing." He nods then to Lianne, "Yes, Lord Mydas said we can do both in one round. I assume the aid we give has to match the specific form of attack too. Sort of a guessing game."

Melinda laughs a little as she looks to Lydia then to Mydas, "can you go over what the actions are each turn? And just how close are we together?" she wonders

Turo ponders, still remaining somewhat the quiet the one out of the bunch. The Admiral is a known strategist and tactician, but mostly in military matters. Not the sort who'd be known to run a house. This causes him to glance across to the other players. "The North, hm? Well, that works for me."

Mira nods her head a few times, as if listening to a musical beat only she can hear. Her chest does bounce ever so slightly, but Mira seems to be mostly keeping to herself and not actively engaging in diplomacy.

"I am sure can find some sorry sap to sacrifice themselves for your well being, but, that will not be me." Khanne rolls her eyes and smirks towards Kieran. "I am not going to take any sort of blows just so your prissy ass can run away." She sticks her tongue out at him.

Fiora chuckles softly at the pairings of people to lands, looking to Victus and offering, "Do not give up yet, Your Highness. The Lyceum is known as much for its ports and navy as for its licentiousness." As a member of the more martially inclined Malvici's, she may be a bit biased.

Mydas nods. "You may choose to attack and protect. As to the actions themselves, either military attempt, intrigue attempt, or economical attempt."

"I'm gonna burn this shit to the ground." Victus replied bluntly to Fiora with a look of apathy in his eyes, his hand circling around one of the many tails of his braided hair as he looked over the board.

"It's a role the Oathlands have always played, mm?" Lianne offers to Khanne with a smile before slipping her verdant gaze toward Kieran. Who gets a gracious dip of her head for his kind assistance. "We will continue to support and uphold the Faith."

Kieran offers a bow to Lianne, "The Faith is ever gracious for the continued approval and support of the faithful." He looks the crowd over a bit, before starting to make his round and see who might be interested in tossing their support behind the Faith.

Khanne laughs and asks Lianne, "which, running away or taking the blows for someone else?"

Lydia is having a murmured conversation, eyes lowered, and she is looking ever so very serious. Also. Trying not to laugh.

Melinda looks to Victus and she laughs shaking her head as she draws a little breath looking to the Oathlands then to all those who are saying what they intend to do, she looks at the board carefully.

This is not a game of Conquer, but even if it's not, Turo has a pretty decent poker face. He doesn't seem to reveal anything about his movements or his motives. And just as before, he stays silent for the majority. But is he watching the others speak and converse between each other? Better believe it.

A messenger arrives, delivering a message to Turo before departing.

Lianne's smile widens beatifically as she regards Khanne and all too seriously remarks, "Whatever is required of us," oh so dutifully. Her gaze tracks back to Kieran first, observing the Faith, so to speak, before looking about at the others. Her brows pitch upward at the look from Melinda, all the way over there in Eurus, and she says ... something not in Arvani.

Lianne wonders to Melinda, "Does hosting your runaways garner any favor?" with an impish glint in her eyes.

With a glance to the hourglass and its slowly dropping sand, Freja remarks, "Tick tock the clock doth count, crusades drawing near..."

A messenger arrives, delivering a message to Mydas before departing.

Khanne grins with a small laugh, nodding then to Lianne. "Well said, Lianne. Well said."

And then a messenger shows up, handing over a message to the Navegant. It's finally this that causes a distinct frown to crease his lips. To the point where the message is just about crumpled into his hand. "Of course he would, just when I began to enjoy myself." he mutters. "You will forgive me all, but it appears my first mate has an issue that just cannot wait and needs to speak to me. Apparently some of my crew thought it smart to replace the secondary sail, and tear the replacement in the process. If you'll excuse me, I need to go tan a few hides."

Mydas nods. "Very well, Northlands is no longer in the game. Do enjoy your time, Lord Turo."

Lydia steeples her fingers beneath her chin, fingers tapping together with a thought. She quietly makes her moves, smiling with glee, and she ducks her head slightly to nibble on the edge of her thumbnail. That is until a messenger arrives for Turo and he needs to take his leave of the game. She pouts, only slightly put out, and she glances over the map again.

Khanne hmphs as the rep for the North leaves the game. "Just as well, if he did bad, I might not be able to restrain my fury..." She doesn't sound very furocious though, her eyes following those playing, leaning in to each other, whispering, deals made.

Lydia is whispering in earnest, as she twirls a red-gold curl through her fingers.

Fiora nudges Mydas gently and murmurs, "Perhaps you could take over the North as a placeholder until Lord Navegeant's return, milord?" She flickers a brief smile and offers, "You wouldn't *have* to play to the *best* of your ability..."

The Nightgold Duchess pauses, laughs, and murmurs a response behind the shield of one lifted hand.

Kieran sighs a bit as Turo leave. "And here the Faith was about to begin its crusade against the dirty, barbaric heathens of the North."

"Filthy creatures," Lianne murmurs in teasing agreement with Kieran, tilting towards him a little further to add something in lower notes. When she straightens, she is just as tall and proud as she had been. Sure of her victory, her strength.

Pauses to watch Lianne, head tilting slightly. Then, the edges of her ivy-green eyes narrow speculatively, and she bares her teeth in a grimace. "Curses!"

Mira quite suddenly laughs before clapping a hand over her mouth, eyes wide. Looking horrified, she glances about, bringing her hand down and clasping them both behind her back, looking a bit red.

Lydia was watching Lianne. Watch-watch-watchity watch.

Khanne frowns at Kieran, her lips pursing, eyes narrowing as she looks at him, then to Lianne when she plays on Kieran's words. She crossses her arms over her chest, letting out a judgmental 'hmph' at them, though, she appears to be doing so playfully. Should anyone look close enough, the corners of her lips are curled up slightly as she tries not to smile.

Melinda looks to Kieran and then to her board, she looks to the others that are playing and she smiles a soft flicker of her lips.

"The Oathlands gains one edge, but suffers two disasters. The Mourning Isles gains one edge, no disasters. Crownlands gains one edge. Lyceum gains one edge but also one disaster. Eurus gains one edge but no disaster. Faith gains an edge but no disaster." Mydas smiles. "Round two begins."

"Please keep in mind that you can't attack twice in a row, the same methods. Please don't be boring." Freja says with a distinct drawl.

"Please keep in mind that you can't attack twice in a row, the same methods. Please don't be boring." Freja says with a distinct drawl.

234 Freja also clarifies, "The same the method of attack...if you want to attack the same group, then by all means."

Kieran looks to Lianne and shakes his head, "Seems you weren't faithful enough and the gods are punishing you. Also, punishing the Lyceum for their decadence." He grins over to Victus then, before looking over the board and the others gathered around, as he tries to decide how to maneuver next."

Mira hmms quietly, leaning forward to looking over the map and frowning at something that's changed about it. What, however, she doesn't betray.

Lianne's smile widens as the damage the Oathlands suffers is announced, a sparkle in her eyes nothing shy of delight. With each named, she looks to their leaders around the the map, studying each in turn. Her gaze dips before sliding to Kieran. "Is that your official judgment, milord? If the Faith is displeased, we shall take our silver elsewhere. And our spies. I am sure you know better than most that the Oathlands houses the finest intelligence network in all of Arvum. Undoubtedly what's made us a target." To the rest of the table, she notes, "We are for sale. We can work for you. Point us to your enemy. Let us bolster your defenses. If we fall, you lose an enemy, yes, but also an asset."

Lydia picks at another glossy curl, spinning it through her fingers before - sproing! - she releases it with a nod. That proverbial candle flickering to life above her head. She nods a little, tucks her chin against her palm and murmurs behind her hand, "The Crownlands will note the offer, Oathlanders."

Melinda laughs a little looking to Kieran "oh I see how the faith is." she says before she looks over the map and she smiles. "I believe you should send your silver over to the Isles, they look like they need it." she says to Lianne.

Narrowing his eyes, Victus casts a small grin over to Mira. "So far so good. Keep it that way." He jabs his finger at her in very judgmental fashion. "Keep. It. That. Way."

Kieran shakes his head, "I said the gods appear to be punishing you. The faith does not involve itself in such political matters."

Mira looks up at Melinda's comment, surprised. "We do?" Her hands are on the table, and she tilts upright silently. She looks over at Victus quietly, nodding and not saying more.

Freja scowls at something, lips pressing into a thin line at something as her cheeks flush. Grabbing a glass of whiskey, she drinks deeply with a glance to the hourglass.

Lianne looks between Mira, Melinda and Victus, her green-eyed gaze circling back to where it began. "I don't believe the Isles are receptive to our aid. Should Eurus require anything..."

Lianne drifts around the table, edging toward Victus to whisper something before returning back to her earlier position.

Kieran watches as the sand in the hourglass empties, then looks at his fellow players as they all hand in their papers with orders written on them. "Let's see who kept their word."

Khanne smirks a little at Kieran after a quiet conversation, then leans her rear against the sideboard as she watches the game and the players. Perhaps, she is just studying them all so that when she plays in the future, she can learn from their mistakes.

Mira is immovable. Her gaze is firmly upon the map, hands clasped behind her. She waits, patiently, for the results.

"Through combined efforts, the Oathlands have fallen and are now eliminated from the game. The Faith suffers from one disaster. Lyceum, Crownlands, Mourning Isles and Eurus gains one edge." Mydas announces. "Third round begins, make your moves."

Khanne listens to Mydas' announcement, then asks Lianne, "did you take too many blows for someone else?"

Kieran looks to Lianne as she is removed from the game. "Hmmm." He rubs his chin and eyes the other players.

Lydia is tapping her fingers against her cheek. Next, toying with a dangling curl while she hums, "Mmhm." Lifting her gaze to consider the map before she considers the remaining players.

Freja chips in, "The scoreboard is as follows:

Crownlands ((Lydia)): Two edge
Lyceum ((Victus)): Two Edge, 1 Disaster
Mourning Isle ((Mira)):Two Edge
Faith ((Kieran)) : 1 Edge, 1 Disaster
Eurus ((Melinda)) : Two Edge"

"Remember, Three disasters and you are out!"

Mira leans on the table containing the game board, studying it quietly from behind her brass-framed glasses.

"If only someone had still believed," Lianne murmurs mournfully to Kieran as she steps away from the table, not the least bit surprised by this result. She bows shallowly as she withdraws, moving to where Khanne, her smile already returning. "I believe I've been properly scared off honorable tactics." Now it's back to being Lycene. Which requires that she note, "Interesting, how only one hit did not land. I can't imagine why."

Khanne grins to Lianne as she comes near. She nudges shoulders with her lightly and chides, "that's what you get for calling us northerners filthy creatures." She smirks crookedly then to her.

Melinda looks round and she laughs a little as she continues to plot and scheme as she watches those eliminate the rivels on the board

Freja's dark eyes flit towards Lianne and Khanne. "I do bathe, y'know. That is stereotyping!"

Khanne nods to Freja and says, "me too. I was even thinking about putting a nice tub on the terrace or my room."

Lianne laughs, bright and brief, as she leans toward Khanne for just a moment. Her vibrant gaze turns toward Freja as she makes a subtle gesture toward the other northerner at her side. "I'm not so sure about that one." As if Mydas weren't the cleanest, most meticulously put together man in all of the North.

Kieran looks up at the conversation, "I steal baths from here, the Nightgold Manor."

Mira murmurs quietly, "The Law Office has a tub. But that is for private use."

Her ivy-green eyes widen, gasping at Kieran with alarm. Lydia scowls, "You cad."

"Eurus gains one edge. Crownlands gains an edge and disaster. Lyceum gains an edge. Mourning Isles gains a disaster. Faith gains a disaster. No one has been eliminated on this round." Mydas announces. "The fourth round begins now."

Kieran grins to Lydia, "You can't deny that you have very nice baths." He then sniffs at the gfact that he has been targeted again. "Well, I think I have one last round left."

Freja follows that up with, "The Scoreboard is as follows, all players still in the game...

Crownlands (Lydia): 3 Edge, 1 Disaster
Lyceum (Victus): 3 Edge, 1 Disaster
Mourning Isles (Mira): 2 Edge, 1 Disaster
Faith (Kieran) : 1 Edge, 2 Disaster
Eurus (Melinda): Three Edge."

Melinda grins a little as she nods her head to Lydia "such a thing for the faith to say." she giggles a little as she then looks to the others her eyes flicker and she considers her movements

Mira blinks, surprised by the results. She leans up slowly from the table and looks over at Kieran silently.

"A crisis of faith," Lianne croons as the score is called. She can't quite bring herself to frown convincingly, but there's at least a delicate furrow of her forehead to accompany her amused smile. Good-humored, mostly. Only slightly smug.

Mira leans forward a bit, a hand on the table, "It would seem the Faith is Faithless. Who knew?"

A messenger arrives, delivering a message to Lianne before departing.

Melinda nods to Mira "well when you are really a Shaman in disguise that is to be expected." she laughs a little

Lydia pauses, glancing evenly at Mira. Then, she slooooowly raises one hand up, grinning from ear-to-ear. The giggles that escape her are barely controlled.

Freja, being the Shaman that she is, quirks her scarred brow and glances to Melinda. "Come again?"

Kieran notes to Melinda, "I am not a Shaman or even a Shamanist. I follow the Pantheon...for the most part." He eyes the board as he says this.

Khanne arches a brow and considers Melinda quietly, her words piquing the shamans interest.

A messenger slips in to hand Lianne a small missive, no seal to mark who it might be from. She accepts it with a polite word, steps aside to read it in private, then looks to Mydas, Freja and Fiora. "It seems I am needed elsewhere. My apologies." With that, she steps out, no further snark. Given what happened at her house earlier this week, one can only guess at what calls her away.

Melinda laughs "the Game!" she says "I was just playing the Game!" she points to the board, "not MY thoughts." The lady looks up with a little laugh.

Lydia checked charm + manipulation at difficulty 15, rolling 30 higher.

"The Faith has fallen, and is now eliminated from the game. Crownlands, Mourning Isles and Lyceum gain an edge. Crownlands gain a disaster." Mydas announces. "Fifth round begins."

Khanne watches for awhile longer then pushes away from the sideboard. "Well, good luck everyone. I think I am going to head to bed early tonight. Have fun!" She lifts her hand to wave to everyone there before slipping out the door.

Freja's voice follows with her echoing scoreboard, "The Faith is elminated, rounded on all sides! ...Shamanism still stands, by the grace of not being involved." Ba dunn tss. "Scores are as follows,

Crownlands (Lydia): 4 Edge, 2 Disasters
Lyceum (Victus): 4 Edge, 1 Disaster
Mourning Isles (Mira): 3 Edge, 1 Disaster
Eurus (Melindsa) : 3 Edge "

A messenger arrives, delivering a message to Mira before departing.

Kieran chuckles and nods, before heading out now that he has been eliminated.

Melinda laughs a little at a whisper she gets and she nods her head before she turns her attention to the board, her eyes flicker slowly over the remaining players before she inclines her head to Lydia

Mira stands quietly, looking over to confirm her moves with the game master.

**********************************************************************
It was a clear day, but storms often blow in over Arx from the Bay of Thrax, and today is one of those days. As an unusually large detachment of the Iron Guard moves to Sovereign Bridge and takes up a defensive formation facing the Palace, a squall is taking over the city, bringing powerful summer rains.
**********************************************************************

"Alas, the Crownlands have fallen. Mourning Isles gains an edge and a disaster. The Lyceum gains an edge. And Eurus gains an edge and a disaster." Mydas announces. "Final round begins."

Lydia presses her hand to her forehead, exhaling a theatrical sigh as she slips out of her chair. "Alas. Alack. I shall weep over my loss in my bower. Farewell, goodbye, and goodnight to all -" she waves to all as she straightens up, grins, and skips out from the Hall.

Freja looks at the scoreboard, to Mydas, then back to the scoreboard. "Well..um. Here is the scores.."

Lyceum (Victus) R Edge, 1 Disaster
Mourning Isles (Mira) 4 Edge, 2 Disaster
Eurus (Melinda) 4 Edge, 1 Disaster"

Melinda looks to Victus and then to Mira as she watches them together and she draws a breath.. "close game."

Mira looks up and nods to Melinda, then Victus, leaning forward against the game table like it were an actual war map.

The High Lord leans back. "I'm still drunk." Victus shrugs, scratching a finger against the top of the table. "But this has been fun."

Mira gets a sleek coat made of fine black silk from Alarie's Delivery Satchel.

Mira gets a formal silk blouse of crimson hues from Alarie's Delivery Satchel.

Mira gets an elegantly flowing skirt made with black silk from Alarie's Delivery Satchel.

"It was well fought, and ...well plotted, but there can only be one ruler. That ruler is none other than the Lyceum. Who can say that they are shocked? The den of poisoners, and social welfare manipulators that they are..." Freja's smile is slow as her gaze falls on Victus. "You are the victor, your Grace. The close second is none other than Lady Melinda, with Mistress Mira's lands being overcome at last, leaving her in third." Her hands rise slowly in an applause, bowing to them all.

"Congratulations on all who played, and thank you for being so willing to participate." Mydas smiles.

SOCIAL WARFARE, NOT WELFARE

Freja eyes Mydas as he smiles, taking a looong step away.

Mira aws, dropping the Iron Lady facade and returning to her normal self. "Oh well, came close." She smiles over to Victus, "Congratulations!" And to Melinda, she nods with a bounce of her bangs, "And well-fought! You did really well."

Victus leans back, quirking his brow in actual surprise at the fact that he'd won. "Huh, really?" He says quietly, stroking his bearded chin. "Huh. Here I was thinking I'd be the first one to flip the fuckin' board on its head first." His ebony eyes fall between Mira and Melinda in kind, grinning all the while. "Well done ladies."

Melinda smiles to Victus "I did get one hit on you" she nudges his counter disaster chip and grins a little to him.
