Sir Rodrick, a Well Built Sanna Guard, Spirit, the Sleepy Brown Fox, Etherael, the Energetic Arctic Fox arrive, following Sasha.

Isabelle, who is just so tired of everyone's nonsense arrives, following Niklas.

2 Grayson House Guards, Elizabetta, a disapproving lady-in-waiting, Lily, an aloof lady-in-waiting, Clark, an exasperated guard, Niklas arrive, following Sabella.

To say this place is a madhouse would be an understatement. Children. Are. Everywhere! Screaming at the animals, painting rocks, painting themselves, painting the table, painting friends! A few ambitious ones have found the table with the cupcakes and are having contests about who can cram the most into their mouths, and there's at least seven games of tag happening. Princess Sabella is in the middle of the chaos, sitting down on a chair while a little boy paints a big sun on the bandages that cover the right side of her face, "You can sot anywhere if you can find space," she's telling some people that just came in. "Grab a rock and paint whatever strikes your fancy!"

Sasha carefully makes her way to the fields with a smile curling her lips. Her foxes running free and allowing the children to love and pet all over them all, adoring the attention. She makes her way to the nearest spot and slips into a chair, curiously looking over the rocks before selecting hers and beginning to apply some red paint upon it.

Jeffeth checked charm + performance at difficulty 15, rolling 16 higher.

Waldemai has his hammer, as always. "If you think your rock is too large, I'll be glad to make it into smaller ones for you!"

Niklas wields a musical wooden banjo.

Jeffeth has joined the a cozy campfire surrounded by boulders and wooden perches.

Daemon was sitting cross-legged. Cris-cross-applesauce for those looking for specifics. Beside him was his loyal duck companion, Jimbo. The two of them had a pile of rocks splayed out before them with a few children wistfully looking from one person to the other. "... I think the bright colors would make for a good frowny face. Though I don't see too many good blues to make a highly detailed pond that /also/ serves as a avian nest..." He muses, rubbing at his chin in deep thoughtt.

Fredrik enters in his traditional umbra-and-crimson-seasilk garb, his guards lingering fairly close, but not too much so as he makes his way toward a seat, smiling warmly at the children as he holds out a platter of cookies decorated with little red icing images of waves on them, letting the ravenous hoard-I mean children-start to snatch them up as he plops himself down. "Hello hello little ones! Go ahead, take one -/one/, I said, don't think I don't see you, scamp-and have a little fun! Sugar is totally not a terrible idea!" And then he snatches up a rock, chatting amiably with the children about tales of the sea while he begins to pain a rock emerald green. "Who wants to hear stories about sharks and giant kraken, hmm?"

Into the noisy chaos of the event come Tabitha and Delilah, the two Whitehawk cousins walking arm in arm. Smiling as she looks around at all the children as they scream and play, Tabitha turns to Delilah with a warm expression lighting up her face. She chuckles lightly, "Oh, busy, isn't it!" Then she turns her gaze around the happy mayhem that fills the fields, "Aww, the children are so sweet!" Her eyes widen, "And all the animals too." Then she twists her face up curiously as she peeks into the crowds, "I wonder if Aiden's here.... And where's Princess Sabella? Hmm..."

Merek has come to paint rocks with people, and moves to a seat to do so as he brings his fox with him, who is well-behaved. He settles about and relaxes as he paints.

"This is my kind of place!", exclaimed Jayanthi as he arrives to the broad and busy fields, excited to see so many children screaming, running around and covered in colorful splotches of paint. She started to feel like a child again, while picking her colors and a small, special rock.

Niklas walks around the room, never too far from Sabella, playing lively children's songs on his banjo and leading along those kids who are willing in some silly songs. "Oh! Buttercup the bear was a mean old bear and she ate those townsfolk UP! Yes, Buttercup the bear went over there and had herself some sup! The first one she ate was the MAGISTRATE!" The kids all scream magistrate and make the gesture of a man with a bushy mustache. "And the next one he ate was the JUDGE!" The song keeps going as Buttercup makes his way through the entire village, eating villager after villager. It's a tremendously popular song with kids, not so with parents. Up side of being an orphan, I guess.

Alexandre apparently arrives straight from the Saving Grace, for he still wears his Physician robes. Smiling in amusement at the horde of children, the Wyrmguard Lord sits down and begins painting. Tranquil and kind, there soon forms an island of quiet around here, for the children who get tired from all the screaming and running about. He speaks quietly to those that gather, and a suspiciously high amount of knightly paintings of questionable skill begin to be produced in his vicinity. Wonder how that happened.

Sir Jeffeth Bayweather has found himself a quiet space near the campfire. Sitting criss cross applesauce BEFORE Daemon even said anything about it! The large knight has a small blanket laid down with a few rocks on top of it, a very small group of children are sitting with him. Quietly observing the rocks while mixing colors. This is definitely the quiet corner. Though every now and then there is a high pitched laugh accompanied by the low booming laugh of Jeffeth. The knight is staring hard at one of the rocks as he shoves it over to Dannel, the child that has been put in charge of storing their groups colors of course. "Red, please." Jeffeth rumbles to the child, waiting patiently for the color to be handed over to him, and Jeffeth along with his small posee gets to paintin'.

Tesha had arrived with little fanfare and alongside her was her mastiff puppy Atramentous. He gives a look to the young woman and she nods as he gives a few of the children a sniff before sitting down to have a few of them pet him. She's not dressed in her usual crimson today, but traded it out for an aeterna dress with butterflies on it. She settles down with a few of the children and there's a smile to them, "Alright, what should we paint?" she asks them cheerfully.

"Delightfully so," chimes Delilah, taking in the fanfare and beginnings of music that warm the air better than the sun itself in this particular season. Flowers dapple her hair all the way down the copper braids, thinner strands running around the thicker central rope. At least five paintbrushes take the place of hairpins for her, providing an oddly ornamental halo. "If Aiden is, we shall have to chase him down. I want to see what manner of rock animal inspires him. For myself, I'll be satisfied merely to set paint to stone in any recognizable way. Do you think they mind if we attempt abstracted animals? Maybe I can claim it's a spirit animal or seen through a glass lens." Her head tilts, and that bright smile from Tabitha finds its likeness on the other Whitehawk girl. "Quick, let's see whether we can get a better view before we commit to showing off your skills. I hope to find Princess Sabella, considering she came up with a wonderful idea with Sir Jeffeth. And Dame Thena, right?"

Waldemai pulls up a rock and a pot of paint. Now, to get the two of them to get along...

seated close to Alexandre by happenstance, Fredrik is painting little yellow 'scales' on his rock, speaking in a low, thrilling voice to the small crowd of children that have gathered around him and his squid-cookies. "Anyone here ever seen a shark?" Predictably, almost nobody raises their hands. "I SAW ONE HUNG UP AT THE DOCKS! IT WAS THIS BIG" A small red-head with a dirty face declares proudly, prompting a warm smile from Fredrik as the child spreads his arms as high as they will go. "Oh my goodness, that big? Well, would you believe I've seen sharks.." And he looks around, spotting Jeffeth and gesturing toward the massive knight "..Twice as long as Sir Jeffeth is tall? It's true! Maybe even three times as tall! Big enough to swallow a man whole!!" Gasps all around. "The shark, I mean, I'm sure Sir Jeffeth doesn't eat people. And all glimmering, like the sea at sunset!" He is soon painting a crude (he's not a painter) version of a fish on the rock.

Wylla slips in, just as Fredrik starts storytelling. She smiles a little at his clear enthusiasm, but hangs back in the background, eyeing the baskets and any rocks that have already been painted, seemingly hesitant to venture forth into the crowd, amidst all those chattering children. But she's smiling, seeing the goings-on, and at length she waves to Sabella and Niklas. "Thank you so much for -- /oh/. Oh. What happened?!"

The children are quite familiar with Daemon at this point and take all of his ideas very seriously. Except for one scrawny boy that takes his sitting down as an invitation to climb up his back and try to sit on his head, announcing loudly that he's king of the mountain! Fredrik is super popular for about the minute those cookies last, but even when they're gone a few wide eyed kids gather around to ask questions about what a krakle is and if this ship is accurate because the little girl isn't sure if the rock water is large enough to be for a ship or if it ought to be a boat. Sasha's fox is a HUGE hit. Especially the tail! That poor fox. And Niklas' song has a gaggle of children falling all over themselves laughing and making all the motions to enact the people that get eaten by a bear. One child who looks on the verge of being too old to be here sulks around Jayanthi, making small talk as he paints his rock black like his SOUL he informs her.

Sabella meanwhile has finished getting her bandages painted and beams at the little boy, "Thank you, Alari! I bet it looks great! If you'll excuse me a moment, I think we can put the smilie face on a little later." She stands up to start welcoming people, giving a half-smile to the crowd, "Hello everyone!" She pauses then raises her voice over the din, "Hello everyone! I hope you're able to find a space to paint! And please do help yourself to the food--you probably want to do that sooner than later. Enjoy the animals and the children! They're all so thrilled that you came! Now we are taking donations for the orphanages in the city, but all that's actually required is that you enjoy yourself and please drop your dry, painted rocks in the basket by the door. We'll make sure they're delivered to the Shrine of Jayus."

She has thankfully stopped speaking when Wylla asks her that, because her smile disappears. "Ah. There was an accident."

"Oh, I think that's a wonderful idea, Lilah. You should let your creativity run freely! That's the secret of art, I think. It doesn't matter how well one masters the technicality of painting if there's no heart there." Glancing around, Tabitha pats lightly at the satchel that hangs over her body. From within it, a pair of fluffy tabby-cat ears can be seen peaking over the top of the bag. As she walks along with her cousin, Cabbit in a bag, she waves sweetly to the children as she passes by, her smile gentle and kind. One particularly snotty-nosed little kid gets an even warmer smile as the artist notices the puppy face he has drawn on a rounded stone. "That's so lovely!" Then there's a wave to Sabella, though Tabitha doesn't interrupt her in her tasks as yet. Hi patron!

A small disagreement has broken out at the campfire. The accusations hefted on both sides are heavy, but it all has to do over the exact shade of a particular color in front of Jeffeth. The children look expectantly for him to make a calling, but the big man is just staring at it. Blinking up the big man looks over through the sea of children and adults, his eyes falling on Sabella. "Ahm! Your highness!" Jeffeth calls out rather loudly, interrupting her conversation /immediately/. "We need help with a color, please!"

Tesha gives a look up from helping some of the children paint and there's a smile to Fredrik's question, but she doesn't raise her hand. She listens to the stories though. Some of the kids had good imaginations. "I'm going to paint one of these!" one of the girls states to Tesha as she points to a yellow butterfly on her dress. "We're going to need this color for that one, then." she tells her with a smile to that. She gives a look to Jeffeth when he calls over to Sabella though.

Niklas's song comes to an end to some cheers from the kids. "Okay, who wants to go paint a rock? It looks like Sirs Jeffeth and Daemon have a good pile over there and Lord Fredrik is telling fish tales over there. Literally." Niklas pauses by Sabella and leans over to kiss her on her cheek, then strums his banjo and starts singing another song. Wylla's question gets a chagrined grimace, but not much else. Instead he calls out, "Good evening, Archlector! Good to see you out and about!" He plucks at his banjo for a moment, then turns back to the children with a grin and starts up a classic mostly child appropriate sea shanty about the Seafoam Princess, which is a classic song about a man who finds a dress of seafoam while one of Mangata's daughters is bathing and he takes it so she has to marry him. The song makes it clear that this is a pretty bad way to go about finding a wife and by the time he gets to the final verse, "And the Seafoam Princess found her dress and back to seafoam she did turn, but not before she and her children ate her husband stem to stern!" Presumably some of his songs don't include eating people, but the kids seem to be on board.

"What else have you seen upon the seas? Doplhins perhaps?" Alexandre asks in Fredrik's direction, smiling at the tale of sharks and its popularity among the children. Some among his group look up at the mention of dolphins, but most remain focused on their preferred subject, be it horses, knights, or in the case of a young girl, painting a dragon! Alexandre? He's painting a single flame. His ambitions are small.

"What sort of -- " Wylla begins, but Jeffeth cuts her off. She blinks, swallowing, nodding, and smiles towards Niklas as well. She can take a hint, at least, even if she looks rather discomfited at having to do so. The only thing really giving her any sort of presence is those Archlector's robes. She looks down to the basket of rocks, picking up one, turning it this way and that in her hand.

Every hint of satisfaction colours Delilah's countenance. "Creativity as mine tends to flow with a brush into letters, but your faith in me at least beckons me to try, Tabby." Delilah still has her arm around Tabitha's as they circulate, the better not to get lost. She hums along with the music heard by the players, though nothing refined enough for professional tastes. Children swarming for paints receive a grin, though she hardly dares to intercede. Rather, she beams at a child bobbling a green pebble that looks to be a three-eyed, one-legged frog. "Ribbit!" See, onomatopoeia even from the scholar. "There is just so much. Delightful, aren't they?"

"Kraken, my little friends!" Fredrik corrects the small children who have lingered around him. "A kraken is a big old squid the size of a /boat/! Big old tentacles," And he makes a wiggling motion with his fingers toward the children, booping one's nose as he tells the tale. "Big enough to smash a ship to bits! And oh yes, the ocean has many, many ships! I have a ship too, you know? Anyone ever go to the Merchant Gate?" And of course most of the kids raise their hands as Fredrik smiles aside to Sabella and Niklas with a little wave before turning back to his audience. "I need some blue, by the way. Where was I? Oh yes, my ship! You can see it from the gate, it's the one with the dark wood, have you seen it?" A couple kids bob their heads before he asks them all, "Would you all like to see my ship someday? Maybe take a little cruise once the weather warms up?" Now /that/ gets a bit of a response, and a grin from Fredrik. "I'll see what I can arrange with The people who run the Orphanage, hmm? I'm sure we can arrange something!"

Mrek continues to paint and watches other folk do so. To him it is comforting to do such things, which shows as he has a few rocks that have faces on them.

Merek continues to paint and watches other folk do so. To him it is comforting to do such things, which shows as he has a few rocks that have faces on them.

A little girl peers at Alexandre. "Your rock is on fire." Another little boy gasps and points at Tabitha, "SHE HAS A CAT IN HER BAG!" And with that, the cat is out of the bag concerning the cat in the bag and a bunch of children rush over to her. Secret cat! Other children demand to know if Delilah is hiding a cat somewhere. Two little boys sit across from Waldemai and stare at him. One picks his nose. Then feeds it to the other child. All the while they never blink.

When Jeffeth calls out Sabella looks relieved and turns to head over that way, "Well now, what kind of trouble are we having with this chartreuse?" She asks brightly, putting a hand out to pat Jeffeth on the shoulder in thanks. "Is that a purple giraffe eating a turtle? What imagination!" Tabitha and Delilah get big waves, "I hope you brought all your inspiration, Mistress Tabitha! Some of these will be hard to beat. Not that it's a competition!" She then leans down to the kids she's with, "It's a competition!" She stage whispers.

Merek continues to paint into the night!

Amari arrives, following Rowenova.

Waldemai manages to get more paint onto the rock than his hands and bald head.

Sasha continues to quietly paint at her table with a small smile curlinger her lips. The foxes still running about and playing all friendly with the children.

"Indeed. It must be handled with much care, lest you burn yourself." Alexandre grins at the little girl. "After all, some rocks must be afire if they're to keep their brothers and sisters warm in winter. It'd be a very cold wall otherwise!" adds the Wyrmguard. "And what are you painting?" he asks, curious, of the little girl.

Children scaling him like a mountain or not, Daemon seems just as focused on the task at hand. Jimbo in the meanwhile has taken to waddle and quacking around their gathering at random rather than doing anything remotely useful. "So if we use red and blue, we get purple. Red and green makes things a little orangeish..." He continues, sorting out paints like a true rock connoisseur. "So if we arrange these together, the sun is not only happy, but it's also joined by a gaggle of goats and a flock of happy crows."

Rosalie appears in the Ungulate Fields with a bright smile on her face and mischief dancing in her eyes. She scans the people present, locates her target, and she's off!

Rosalie checked dexterity + stealth at difficulty 15, rolling 18 higher.

Fredrik checked perception + investigation at difficulty 15, rolling 47 higher.

Alexandre checked perception at difficulty 33, rolling 30 lower.

Before arriving, Rowenova quickly changed from leather armor to simple linens with a ragged dress over top (which would not be too messed up, should there be any errant paint). Perhaps, new color will even improve the old dress! Now, the unarmored scout carefully moves into the immediate area, fairly slowly, as though she were possibly favoring unseen injuries.

Fredrik has crafted a rather crude fish in green and yellow scales with blue eyes, and thinks. "Hmmm...Need some pink? We have pink? Of course we have pink, thank you." The red-headed little child, who is painting a shark on his rock, passes over the color as he begins to paint a primitive, noodle-armed squid moving to envelop the fish on his rock. "Head's up, Lord Alexandre, you have a rose-arrow incoming," he warns casually, because of course he spots Rosalie, keen-eyed uncle that he is as he paints little black dots on his squid.

Wylla's mouth opens at Daemon. "Not red and green!" she exclaims from her rock baskets. "Red and yellow makes orange." And she hasn't followed up with Sabella about her injury, apparently having been suitably scared off by the joint effort to avoid the question.

Waldemai checked strength at difficulty 15, rolling 6 higher.

Waldemai decides that his rock is too large. He gives it a few whacks with his hammer, solving that problem.

Yes, Tabitha has a cat in her bag. That fuzzy body gets a good scritching from Delilah, happy to supply her fingers to something infinitely more prosperous than her attempts at painting -- yet, anyways. "I believe we have been spotted!" she chimes in, and the Whitehawk woman's clear soprano ascends bell-bright. Fingertips spread as the gaggle of children inquire about a cat, and she replies with all due solemnity, "Yes, but he is a /moon/ cat and therefore a bit shy around everyone. However, his favourite things are colours. If you make something extra bright, he might come out. You'll have to listen quite hard. He doesn't meow very loudly. He sounds like..." A rather apt mew that might be a good copy of a cat's, though not a perfect emblem of mimicry. She straightens a little, her crocus-strewn braid swaying as she bestows a bright wave on Sabella. "She's going to make everything look wonderful. Thank you for sharing this with us, Princess!"

"That's not a real color." Jeffeth states flatly, looking up at Sabella with skepticism. His small band of children rumble their points on what the color was, but finally Jeffeth tips his head down and admits quietly to them. "I guess it's chartreuse. Even though I think that chartreuse is something you eat at a fancy party." Molding the minds of future generations! Looking up to Sabella Jeffeth gives a soft smile, but then she's stage whispering that it's a competition and Jeffeth is looking down to his own group of kids. "We've got to redouble our efforts."

Jayanthi takes the size of the rock as a challenge to herself, it was flat, and smaller than most other rocks she saw earlier. She listens to the children's conversations while panting her rock. "A few black lines and some fine white dots around here... Perfect!" she says while painting the rock with the finest of brushes. She takes the opportunity to teach some of the children the basics of painting.

"A what?" Alexandre asks, glancing up, quickly scanning the area... and not seeing any rose or arrow heading his way. To be fair, with so many children running about, it's rather difficult to keep track of all movements. And then one of the children insists to show him his painted rock, which looks like a stick figure holding a sword. It is, evidently, a magic sword, for it glows. Or at least, the boy painted yellow lines coming from the sword. That's glowing right?

Amari looks as though she probably got lost trying to find the ungulates, but luckily, the screaming of children probably led her this way. It couldn't have hurt, anyway. Since she's not far behind Rowenova, she takes a few steps to catch up to her and smile at her, and offer, "Good luck. Guard your ankles." Her ankles are sadly very vulnerable, so she moves carefully, watching for biters and familiar faces. There's a friendly wave for Wylla, and seeing Tesha, she heads her way.

Fredrik does /not/ clarify for Alexandre, too busy discussing that sharks don't have fingers with the child before him, the voice of patient experience that showcases either the best of carekeepers, or at least experienced parents.

The little girl holds up her rock for Alexandre to see, "My new family," she tells him proudly. It's four little stick figures all holding hands, "I think it's those two ladies," she points to Delilah and Tabitha. "But maybe it's you." She looks at the rock then peers at Alexandre like, what're you gonna do break my heart? A little boy by Daemon says, "That's not a cow. Cows have bells! Everyone knows that." And when Wylla interjects, two boys give her an affronted look, "Uh, he has a HELMET!" They point out, "I think he KNOWS his colors!" A little red headed girl of about three climbs up on the bench beside Sasha and just curls up with her. No painting. Just snuggling. Another child tugs on Wylla's robes. "Paint!" He announces proudly, pressing hands covered in red and yellow into her robes.

"It's a color and a light snack," Sabella assures Jeffeth, giving his shoulder another squeeze and then moving on to greet more people, "Why, Lord Redtyde, no wonder Helia turned out so well, look how good you are with children!"

Such a wonderful frog!" Tabitha grins as she notices the focus of Delilah's ribbit. That in itself gets a giggle as she moves along arm-in-arm with her cousin, waving to all the children as they pass by. When she notices Sabella, yet another grin, "Hello, your Highness! This all so lovely!" Sitting down carefully so as not to jostle the cat out of the bag, and taking up a rock to start painting, Tabitha flashes a kind smile at Jeffeth, "Hello." Then it's back to Sabella, "We have so many budding artists of the future here, don't we?" To the little ones, she nods in agreement with Delilah's words, "Cabbit is mad about colours. All the colours of the rainbow!" The mewing gets a giggle too. She's pleased her cousin is enjoying herself, that much is clear.

Sneaking around the crowd, this is less about outright not being seen and more about not being noticed. Blending in. She locks eyes briefly with Fredrik, putting a finger to her lips, too late. Thankfully, her target seems consumed with his task, leaving him wide open. Creeping around the edges of the milling painters, she appears suddenly. Right behind Alexandre. Tapping him lightly on the shoulder, the moment he turns around, she plants a kiss to his lips. Right there in front of everyone. No fucks given. When she pulls back, her smile has softened and she's a bit rosy-cheeked, but pleased. "Hello, Alex." Then she grins at her uncle, "Uncle Fredrik. I was hoping to see you here."

"It is good to see you in Arx, Lord Wyrmguard." Tesha comments down the way to Alexandre. Then there's a smile to the children, "That is Lord Alexandre Wyrmguard. He's a Knight." she whispers to them. Which makes the children sitting with her look at him with wide eyes. "Can we be Knights?!" the asks in unison. Tesha gives a soft laugh, "If you work hard." she tells them.

"Hello new mommy!" The little girl that was guilt tripping Alexandre says delightedly to Rosalie when she kisses him.

"My daughter spends half of her day beating the tar out of champions and Swords in the training ring," Fredrik points out to Sabella with a grin, but with enormous pride in his voice as he discusses Helia, almost radiating his smile enough for those nearby to feel. "My daughter was an orphan, you know," he explains to the children near to him. "Now she's my House Sword. Raised her after he parents passed when she was just a baby, and she turned out amazing! She's a Champion now too!"

Wylla looks toward the two boys, twining her hands together. "He does have a helmet," she tells the boys, "but I'm the Archlector of Jayus." She offers a shy smile towards them, no remontration in her tone, and then her gaze drift to the child tugging on her robes. She moves to scoop him up, not a concern about her slk robes for an instant. "/You've/ made orange!"

After nodding slightly, Rowenova back pats Amari. Thankfully, the wolf scout still has her leather boots on, even if she does not have her other armor on. Critically scanning the whole scene with her cobalt blues, Rowenova soon spots Marquessa Sasha and carefully migrates in her general direction, doing so without being in any particular hurry.

Waldemai paints a big smile on his rock, since a rock without a smile is like a sky without a sun.

Fredrik peers at the soon-to-be-adopted child grilling Rosalie and Alexandre, and just /grins/, not interfering at all, of course, just humming to himself as he calls out, "Always good to see you and Lord Alexandre, Rosalie."

After parting ways with Rowenova after a flash of a smile to the scout, Amari meanders over to see how the stone painting is going, catching a bit of the talk swirling around. "Knights? Wouldn't you rather be lawyers?" She says and there's probably not a one that would rather, so she probably gets a lot of very disinterested looks from children who very much do not want to be lawyers. She tries a variation, "Lawyer knights?" No? She knows when she's beat and slides in to pick up a rock that's yet unpainted, after dipping her head to the Telmar, "Lady Tesha."

Alexandre, poor, unsuspecting, innocent soul that he is, sees nothing, hears nothing. When his shoulder is tapped, he turns... and is surprised by a kiss! Yes, surprised, but he grins, evidently happy to see Rosalie there. "Rosa, I'm glad to see you. Feel free to sit, there's plenty of space." And, glancing at the ambitious young girl, still grinning, he adds. "The company is the finest." And then he peers at the little girl's rock, pondering. "Mmm, but who's the fourth figure?" he asks, curious.

Gentle laughter permeates the air from Delilah, though she plucks one of the crocuses from her hair and hands that blossom to the girl with her new family. Break the child's heart or carry a flower, after all, a gift from the walking embodiment of a gentle twilight. "It's good luck to press between the leaves of a book," she adds. Someone please save her. To Tabitha sotto voce, she says, "Let's find a rock and paints, or Hawkhold will have another twelve people by night's end." Any sort of hidden graces run with her now as she shadows her cousin, trying to take in absolutely all and none. "Cabbit is well and truly spoiled by all these colours. Ah, look, it's Lady Rosalie and Lord Fredrik too." Standing on tiptoe, this may be the one place she can enthusiasticaly wave for safety's sake.

"Painting!" The boy declares happily as he gets scooped up, putting one hand on either side of Wylla's face, which is gonna leave her with two bright handprints on her face. The group of kids around Fredrik look up at him in awe and whisper to each other. An ambitious young girl punches the kid next to her in the face with a bright smile, clearly taking his advice very seriously. As the tears start, Sabella is there to scoop the little boy up, "Shhh, shh, come on, I'll show you how to decorate a cupcake okay?" This appears to be what is needed to stem the tears. As Rowenova walks around, she develops a following of mostly boys who appear extremely impressed with her headdress. One girl eyes Amari skeptically, "You mean like with the LAW?" She asks incredulously, like she might not know who she's talking to. "In the LOWERS?!" Not dismayed in the least by being caught having an extra figure on her rock the little girl tells Alexandre, "The other baby. But it has to be a girl or NO DEAL!"

When the girl declares Rosalie her new mommy, Niklas quickly strums out a little Islander wedding march. Not everyone gets the joke, but the Islanders do! Island pride! He offers the lovebirds a quick dip of his head, then continues on, starting a new song. This one is a fairly innocuous song about a chick who wins a duel with the rooster and starts styling himself the boss of the roost, but in the end a fox shows up and eats him. So there's a theme! But at least this one has a good moral lesson.

Rowenova finally stops to glance back toward the following children who are apparently interested in her wolfy headdress. She wolfishly grins before then drawing down the shady muzzle to fully cover her whole face, peeking out the eye holes at them all with her blue eyes.

Rosalie grins back ato Alexandre and settles in at his side, swiftly reaching over and scooping up the little girl that's called her mommy, giving her a tickle, "Hello sweetheart! What's your name?" Then she's peering at the painted rock alongside Alex, and looking back to Alexandre. "I don't mind girls if you don't, Alex. But we may have skipped a few important steps." Chuckling, she looks over to Fredrik with a cheery smile, "I am suddenly VERY glad that I came to this event." Niklas gets a grin and wink for his little tune, she knows that song!

Fredrik sits up enough to raise a hand for Delilah, smiling knowingly as he overheard (great ears on this one) the commens about having many orphans by the end of the night. "Not going to lie, the thought isn't unappealing, but it seems my niece Rosalie has it handled." He starts as the girl before him punches one of the boys in the face, and gives her the /look/. Every parent ever knows the /look/, and he tells her calmly, with a sterness to his tone, "Now, did that boy ask to practice fighting with you? The Gods say that practice must be agreed to by /both/ sides, okay? You better apologize, the Gods are always watching." Always a good stick to use on children, the Gods.

Waldemai pushes the first rock aside and picks up the next. He eyes it from several angles and then pulls up some white paint.

Tesha gives a soft smile to things and then there's a dip of her head to Amari, "Lady Amari. It's good to see you." she tells her as she takes a seat. "We've finished painting out rocks." she states. "I'm sadly due back at Telmar. Though I think we need to catch up with Lady Hannah and others this week as it is." she gives her a smile. "Have fun." she states as she rises.

The punching girl looks suitably embarrassed and calls out an apology to the boy that Sabella has. She's also suddenly wearing a lot more frosting than she was earlier. The little girl, suddenly looking a little shy, tells Rosalie, "Keskialetta. They call me Kes cause there's so many of us. Etta's over there, and Kia there, and Skia is sick so she couldn't come. Keski still wets the bed, you don't want her!" She adds quickly, taking the flower Delilah gave her and tucking it into her hair like she saw the woman do. The two boys staring at Waldemai finally speak, "Where's your hair?" "Did you eat it? I eat mine sometimes." One of them confides. When Rowenova pulls down her wolf head most of the kids scream and scatter, "Wolf! Wolf!" Some of them finding this very entertaining, some of them completely terrified. "Ahhhh!"

Tesha is overheard praising Faith of the pantheon: For running this!

Tesha is overheard praising Grayson: For running this!

Alexandre, not being an Islander, unfortunately doesn't get the joke! Poor man. "I certainly don't mind girls, but it is true, we're doing this in reverse. Mmm, quite a conundrum." he remarks. Hearing Fredrik, he adds helpfully. "The Sentinel especially is ever watching. But Lagoma is always there to forgive those truly sorry."

Wylla doesn't pull back from the boy's handprints, smiling at the new art done to her face. "Lovely!" And then she looks towards the screaming, her eyes widening, and moves to set the boy down. "You should come by the Shrine of Jayus someday," she tells her new mini friend. "Tell them you want to speak to the Archlector, because she said you're a very good painter." She starts to edge towards the door.

"The LAW." Amari confirms to the little girl, making sure to sound suitably ominous and grave. The law is serious business, especially when said all in capital letters like that. "Lawyers are like knights, in a way. Except we don't fight with swords, but words. You have to know quite a few words, the larger the better, honestly. It also helps to have a very keen mind, just like you. You can't just accept everything everyone tells you without questioning it." Since she has an unpainted stone, she holds it out and gives it an enticing wavey-wave, "Would you like to help me paint? I'm not very good." She's reaching for a paintbrush when Lady Tesha runs for it, so she dips her head politely and says a farewell before she's fully away.

Chuckling warmly at Delilah, Tabitha leans over to her cousin to quietly say, "It's alright if you'd like to circulate around a little. But if you'd like to stay here, then please do! Stay close, I'll protect you." Lifting Cabbit out of the bag with one hand, she plops him on her lap. He's as limp as a noodle, sleepy as heck, and the laid-back little dude does nothing to wriggle away should Delilah, the children or anyone decide to tickle him. He just purrs and flops, though with a smile Tabitha does warn the little ones, "You can pet him if you like, as long as you're all gentle." To Rosalie and Alexandre she nods politely, her lips curving in a friendly manner, "Hello. Tabitha Whitehawk. Very good to meet you." Then she picks up a paint-brush, Cabbit still snoozed out. Now to paint! Though she does mention to Delilah, quietly once again, "I mean... we do have a lot of space at the manor..."

Tabitha checked dexterity + artwork at difficulty 15, rolling 39 higher.

The gods favour children and children favour the gods, by all signs through history. Delilah makes her escape from some of the children, exchanging a few of the abundant blooms decorating her braids for finished stones to put wherever they wish. She doesn't abandon Tabitha, not wholly, but paint won't leap into her hands. Long as she can keep an eye on Cabbit and Tabby, all is well. Chuckling softly under her breath, she returns that salute from Fredrik. "Now that is the sign of a man who knows how to keep a crew or children in line. You should be well and truly proud of your efforts." Now she needs to find her arts with brushes. Or stones. The better to come back with at least a pot of paint for her cousin, she replies, "Oh, I can socialize. Once you start painting, Tabby, they'll be coming to be as amazed as I am. Just watch."

Under her wolf pelt, Rowenova quietly growls, mostly aimed toward the entertained youth rather than the scared children (who she will not chase). Despite her healing wounds, she still finds enough vigor to lunge forward and chase around the little ones who are actually laughing (not the scared ones)!

Niklas checked charm + performance at difficulty 15, rolling 36 higher.

Rowenova checked dexterity + athletics at difficulty 20, rolling 1 lower.

Head tilting, Rosalie looks at the little girl on her lap, "Is that... all of your names? Do you know what it means?" She queries of the child before looking back to Alexandre with a grin, nudging him lightly, "I suppose that means you better get to proposing and hunting down the Marquessa, my lord. This beautiful little girl demands a sister, are you going to be the one to deny her?" Turning her grin towards Delilah, she lifts her free hand and call out, "Hey there, Lady Delilah! Its so wonderful to see you again!" To Tabitha, she offers a bright smile, 'Oh yes! Hello! Its lovely to meet you, Lady Tabitha." Then she turns her attention back to Keskialetta with a softer smile.

"There we go," Fredrik says to the small punching girl, his own smile warm again as he gestures to Alexandre. "The soon-to-be-my-nephew-in-law-apparently Lord Alexandre is quite right, you know. But, if you are good, and you do your best? You can be /mighty/, just like my daughter, and don't let /anyone/ tell you otherwise. You can even be a knight, a champion, a blacksmith, or a thousand other things. Effort and patience are everything in life," He tells them all. "That might not mean much now, but someday you'll remember it, I hope." He grins, passing a rock to the little girl with his squid-and-fish upon it. "And help from others? Never makes you weak. Now wipe your face and go have a cupcake, eh?"

Apparently, Rowenova overdoes it for her condition, and she suddenly trips, flopping down onto the ground (and several rocks) below. She winces slightly, except she never makes a single peep!

Fredrik also calls out to Delilah, "Many years of arduous practice, My lady! Can make a man good at just about anything, including herding cats or children, it seems."

"A pleasure, Lady Tabitha. Lord Alexandre Wyrmguard, at your service." he says, nodding his head to the young woman in greetings. "Manor, is it?" he asks, grinning. "Well, I'm sure you'll have many takers, Lady Tabitha." When Rosalie nudges him, he laughs, grinning afterwards. "Yes, it would seem that I do. A Marquessa to hunt down, a proposal to make, and vows to swear." He does not seem to be adverse to any of these things.

Jeffeth is concentrating hard on a rock that.. Well it didn't come out as planned. There is a lot of paint smudging in his small circle. Paint is getting on lots of kids hands. But Jeffeth seems to have it the worst, little smatters of red blue and green all over his bare forearms and even a little on his face. There's a muted smile given to Tabitha at her greeting, the big man bowing his head deeply to her. Then it's back to trying to salvage this mess of a rock.

The girl eyes Amari, "You're pretty LO-QUA-CI-OUS," she sounds out obnoxiously, "Does that mean I'm a lawyer now?" Her friend elbows her, "Don't mind her. Her dad was hanged." He explains in a low voice while the other kid glares at her. "He didn't have a good lawyer." Kes is getting pretty excited, since no one is telling her no here, "It means joy," she tells Rosalie proudly, beaming at her and Alexandre, "Can I be the flower girl!? I've always wanted a pretty dress! With flowers in my hair!" She points to the flower in her hair. Her current dress looks like it has been handed down a lot and was probably originally made out of an old sack of flour. The kids around Fredrik don't need to be told twice and all race over to the cupcake table to destroy it. DESTROY IT! And speaking of, as soon as Rowenova trips she is COVERED with children looking for wolf rides!

Caught up in the whirl of action, Delilah pauses when Rowenova goes down in a lupine heap of fur, limbs, and unabashed children likely to make some noise. The disruption potentially in the midst of so much activity could be a footnote, but concern streaks over her expression. A touch to Tabitha's arm and she sets down the pot of paint, taking her chances to slip around to assure all is well with the performer. Smiling in passing to Alexandre, and to Rosalie, she says briefly, "I'll be back. Someone just knelt or had a fall, and I want to be sure they aren't harmed."

Sir Rodrick, a Well Built Sanna Guard have been dismissed.

Spirit, the Sleepy Brown Fox have been dismissed.

Etherael, the Energetic Arctic Fox have been dismissed.

Wylla slips out, with a smile for the crowd. She'll be back to collect the rocks later!

"You're so sweet, Lilah!" Then with a nod and a smile to Rosalie and Alexandre, Tabitha takes the art supplies from her cousin and begins to paint a smiling-faced sunflower on her rock, mixing yellow and oranges in beautiful gradiated shades. As simple as it is, it's a very lovely smiley flower, full of cheer and warmth. Casually to Alexandre, she muses, "My cousin wouldn't mind at all, so..." She looks up as Delilah moves off to check up on Rowenova, "Oh, I do hope they're alright!"

Suddenly mauled by little ones, Rowenova actually takes it all rather well, the dizzied scout roaring out a Northern laugh which is the universal signal for probably being OK. She might be a tad sore, but she grunts lowly to get up on all fours (and of course is being climbed on). She puts out her best effort as the wolf ride, but she does have a back wound. How long can she truly last?!

Rowenova checked willpower at difficulty 25, rolling 12 lower.

Rowenova might get like a few feet before she goes down again. What a bad ride!

Delilah gets Nocturnes from a willow basket with a white ribbon tied to the handle - Delilah.

Rowenova says, "Kids, I am so sorry!"

Niklas actually sings a song with no eating of people in it! It's not a kids' song, but it's catchy. It's actually something he wrote for a play that never got produced due to controversial content. "Come away with me and be the legend you are meant to be! You'll always be ever free!" When Rowenova goes down his song takes a pause for him to nearly double over with laughter.

His rock in the hands of a little one and now left alone, Fredrik rises, chuckling as he ripes down his umbra outfit, watching the children destroy the cupcakes. "If they approach life with half that enthusiasm, they'll be just fine," he muses, rubbing at his back for a moment before he turns to Alexandre and Rosalie, declaring, "And that's my good deed gladly done for the day. And I know I gave my blessings unofficially, Rosalie, but for what it's worth, Lord Alexandre, after you get in touch with your Marquessa, do let me know, hmm? We can discuss the particulars." Still a businessman, it's apparent.

Smiling back at Alexandre, Rosalie gives a nod, "That actually sounds pretty perfect to me, Alex." She turns back to Kes and tickles the little girl while giggling and nodding, "Of course you can, Kes! In fact, I think you should have lots of pretty dresses and all the flowers in your hair that you want. When its wintertime, we'll get you flowers of silk to wear. How does that sound?" To Delilah, she gives a quick nod and smiles at her, "Of course, my lady!" Then she's smiling towards Tabitha again before looking back to Alex with a chuckle, "Can you hold onto Kes for a minute, ALex? I need to go speak with Princess Sabella real quick."

Waldemai decides the next rock would look best in...hmmm....blue.

The mention of someone falling does grab Alexandre's attention, and he rises, but Delilah is already moving to take care of it. "I suppose I should return to the Saving Grace." he says, turning his gaze back to Rosalie, Tabitha and their diminutive entourage. "I'll be sure to send word, Lord Fredrik, when I've spoken to Dominique." he assures. "Be well." he tells everyone, and after giving Rosalie a farewell kiss, for clearly it is a night to be bold indeed, he must take his leave.

Meanwhile, Tabitha's maid Laudine is wandering around in the background, currently carrying a little boy who has clearly got overwhelmed by all the excitement, and who now has tears streaming down his cheeks. Though the gray-haired woman still has a fairly dour look on her face, it's positively gentle in comparison to how is is usually. She walks slowly up and down the field for a while, murmuring reassuring words to the boy, and then finally puts him back down on the floor. Then he's off, running back to his friends. Meanwhile, Tabitha gives the older woman a nod and a smile, before nodding towards Sabella in indication that Laudine should approach her for some reason. And so that's exactly what the maid does, handing a note to Sabella after a curtsy and polite words of greeting. Then the messenger excuses herself respectfully and goes back to melding in with the crowds.

Amari opens her mouth and then promptly closes her mouth. "I am that, yes. Annoyingly so... I'm sorry. Sir Jeffeth over there is a Champion. He can eat probably two dozen eggs in one sitting too." She deflects with a nod towards the big paint covered duelist, smiling at his intense concentration a moment before she dips her paintbrush and comes up with red. That'll do. She starts turning her stone that color, gaze wandering, ears catching bits of conversation. At the sight of Rowenova struggling, she looks slightly amused and slightly concerned at the same time.

"Are you all playing nicely with our lady-wolf?" A question from Delilah for Rowenova in that pile of children surrounding Rowenova on all fours. "You must remember not to pull her fur or her ears, after all," she reminds them, as though the gaggle requires any sort of assistance regarding their dearest steed-foe. A flower offered to any of the little ones who wants it, she hovers there for a moment to ensure that all is quite well with Rowenova. Any of the more rambunctious kids will have her likely carrying them out of the way, a few steps off as a veritable warning not to squish someone.

A messenger arrives, delivering a message to Sabella before departing.

Delilah puts Sir Bodice Ripper Pt I by Evendusk in a willow basket with a white ribbon tied to the handle - Delilah.

The wild cheers of kids having a wolf ride turn to awws and complaints pretty quickly. Some kids get distracted by food, painting, and cupcakes and wander away. Someone's feeding a giraffe a cucumber sandwich. Sabella steps over to shoo the kids that don't take Delilah's hint, "I think that's enough excitement for the poor wolf! Have you all put your rocks in the baskets?" The kids, some begrudgingly, get up and shuffle off, so the princess offers her hands to help Rowenova up, "They tackled me earlier. So cute but...strangely strong!" It is slowly dawning on Kes that her clever cuteness has worked and she beams at Rosalie, "Amazing!" Then she's waving to Alexandre, "See you soon, Daddy!" The huffy girl sniffs a couple times then says to Amari, "Apologies. I'm outspoken and rude." She repeats like she's been told this over and over again.

Rowenova does not complain much, but she does move more slowly than before, apparently crushed until Delilah's help actually frees her for a few moments to somewhat gather herself up, doing so very carefully to not drag down Sabella whilst accepting her hand. "Thank you." says Rowenova to the two women who have basically saved her! "If I were hale, I would be okay, but I am not so much."

Waldemai has of course gotten blue paint on his head. Fortunately more is on the rock.

Meanwhile, Tabitha is helping a frizzy-haired and rather scrawny little girl to paint a blue bird onto one of the rocks. She's all encouragement and smiles, even though the child is frowning uncertainly at her own work. A frustrated artist here!

Gracious as the princess is, Delilah steps aside some that Sabella might be able to descend in all her cheery splendour to banish those well-meant children a little too excited about the situation. Her hands extended are easy enough for the little ones to take them, just in case. "You're a generous person." This said with admiration, quietly, to Rowenova carries nothing but approval. "The children enjoyed your company, for certain."

Picking up Kes, Rosalie carries the girl over to Sabella, offering the Princess a sunny smile. "Your Highness. House Redtyde would like to formally adopt Kes here. I'd like to take her back with me, if that can be arranged. We may stop at the Tangled Skein along the way, I'm sure Mistress Petal will -love- to make some pretty dresses and silk flowers for her." Smiling towards Kes, she wrinkles her nose up, "And then maybe Lottie's for a cookie."

When Delilah and Sabella have come to Rowenova's aid, and she's up and talking again, Amari smiles relief and looks back to the huffy little girl who is outspoken and rude. "Well, I'm sorry too. I got the distinct impression you didn't like me and I didn't want to bother you in that case." She smiles a bit wanly as she turns the stone carefully over in her hand, arranging her fingers so she's not touching wet paint. "Just sit with me and we'll pretend this is all very fun and talk. Be as honest as you like." When her brush runs out of red, she leans forward and dips it into a fresh, if clashing color. "Let's start with introductions, since that's the polite thing to do. My name is Lady Amari Keaton." She gestures for the little girl to answer in kind, looking expectantly at her as she does.

When Rosalie steps over, Sabella pauses in replying to Rowenova. It's been over a week since Sabella actually smiled and even though it hurts and half of it is hidden under bandages, she gives Rosalie a huge, brilliant smile, "Truly!? Oh, that is wonderful news! Congratulations, Kes!" She clasps her hands together and nods, "Of course, of course! I think you'll probably have to sign something as you leave, but that is the most fantastic news I've heard in forever!" She gestures to a couple of the members of the Faith that are around helping who were actually not expecting anyone to be adopted because Jayus, look at these wild children, but someone pulls out some paperwork to hold for Rosalie to sign. Kes clings to her neck with a dazed look of absolute happiness, leaning in to whisper to Rosalie, "If this is a dream, I hope to never wake up! Ever ever ever!" The huffy girl huffs but nods at Amari and sits there, painting the skull on her rock. It's very lifelike. "Etta." She says by way of introduction, "Don't know my last name, but if I had to pick one I'd pick...Riversmith." she decides with a nod.

Niklas wanders back over and gives Sabella a kiss on the cheek. "I'm going to head home, my love. I'll see you later." He swings his banjo back around and waves to the kids. "Get to rock paintin', kiddos. Jayus is counting on you!"

Waldemai decides there needs to be a black rock.

With her calloused left, Rowenova reaches up and pushes back the wolf pelt until she can clearly view Delilah and Sabella from under the muzzle shade. Smiling softly, yet with tired eyes (and blistered lips for some reason), Rowenova speaks up, "Thank you. I am glad they did. I heard there was one who was not able to come here, one who was sick?" Then, "See you, Prince Niklas!"

Scribble has absolutely no interest in coming up against unwanted figures -- children, dirty and scary things. He tiptoes with a message compared to the heavy-footed way of tramping about that some have. With that comes the lightest of movements, and he gives Sabella a polite bow, since his proximity to her is significant enough. Then he passes something to Delilah that freezes the smile on her face to something just this side of troubled. Her expression fades into something socially neutral, shuttered vision trailing over the cursive lines. Then the smile resets; it takes some long seconds to achieve, but nonetheless exists. "Pardon me," she says to Sabella. "Princess, this is a delight, but I fear a friend has need of me. Would you forgive me from taking my leave?" She then steps back and grins to Rowenova, though it's not fully in her eyes. Distracted, but oh, trying. "And your mien is superb." A few quick steps will carry her to Tabitha.

"Perfect! I'm ready to sign whatever I need to. Kes is wonderful and I can't wait to be there to watch her grow up," Rosalie responds with a bight smile to Sabella. Whatever paperwork is produced, she signs it with a flourish and wraps her arms around Kes, dropping a kiss on her cheek. "Its no dream, sweetie. We're going to go get you some pretty dresses and flowers and a cookie. And we'll see about some furniture and since we're building the house here still, you can even pick out everything you want for your room." Leaning in, Rosalie gives Sabella an awkward one-armed hug and smiles, "Alright! Lets get this shopping spree started! First... The Tangled Skein!" She sets Kes on her feet but keeps hold of her hand and grins down at the little girl, "You'll like MIstress Petal, she's very sweet." Offering a wave towards Delilah and Tabitha, she heads off with her newly adopted daughter!

"Etta's a pretty name, it goes with Riversmith rather well. Etta Riversmith. Very nice. Better than, Etta Skullstone, say." Amari posits after a quick smile at the slightly macabre painting the little girl is working on. "If we're picking names, I'd want to be Amari Hawkbear." No reason given, but honestly, a hawkbear would be super dangerous and cool, but mostly dangerous. Given how well the skull is being painted, she also leans over and blatantly tries to copy it on her own stone. It's not good. It looks like a white blob with eye blobs and a nose dab. She looks to Etta plaintively. "Yours is so much better than mine. Help!"

Scribble, a Delicate Social Butterfly leaves, following Delilah.

A messenger arrives, delivering a message to Niklas before departing.

"Of course, thank you so much for coming!" Sabella says to Delilah as she makes to leave, still beaming at Rosalie. "Have fun you two! And thank you so much, Lady Rosalie!" She comments to Rowenova, "While that was absolutely my most hoped for outcome here I never actually dreamed it might happen! You know, maybe..." She trails off a bit, but looks rather hopeful. "No matter. Come on, let's get you sitting down. Do you want a cupcake?" Etta looks at Amari like damn, Skullstone would've been amazing and now she regrets her choice! She then eyes what Amari is doing and actually laughs after a minute, "You've gotta do some shading--like swirl the brush around the white to make a gray," she shows how to do it on her own awesome skull. "Are hawkbears really a thing?"

Isabelle, who is just so tired of everyone's nonsense leaves, following Niklas.

Rowenova oh yeahs? to Princess Sabella. She settles down onthe nearest chair before nodding twice, "I would, please." She also looks quite hopeful for whatever free food the kind princess might give her! <3 Though, there are a couple kids who come up (not mauling her). They were more timid earlier on, but now they want to pet the wolf fur. Rowenova easily welcomes them, giving out a couple hugs, too, despite moving slowly.

After some time helping various children to daub patterns on their rocks, all with words of encouragement and admiration for their creativity, Tabitha finally places Cabbit back into her satchel. Giving careful hugs to the children around her, which gets her covered with paint, she stands and waves goodbye to everyone around her. Then she approaches Sabella with a smile and curtsies deeply. Her face has a big blue smear on it, over her forehead. Tabitha doesn't seem to mind. "This was wonderful, your highness," she says warmly. Then, more quietly so as not to heard by any but the princess, a few more words are exchanged. "Please let me know if there's anything else I can do to help, or if there are any children who are need of a home more than most." Another smile, "Thank you again."

Cabbit, a nub-tailed tabby kitten, Laudine, a stern middle-aged maidservant leave, following Tabitha.

Sabella quickly plucks up a cupcake that has only been slightly dented by over enthusiastic children and brings it over to Rowenova, sitting down with her for a moment, "Thank you for coming, Scout Rowenova! I am truly appreciative of--oh no, no, no the rocks are not to be fed to the giraffes! Excuse me--" she says hurriedly, getting up to go chase a group of laughing children.

"Oh, probably. Far in the north, there's likely some hawkbears." Amari decides as she tries to do that shading thing so her blob looks more skull-like. Unfortunately, it starts to look more like she's painted a stone on a stone, which seems very redundant. "Or actually, I bet hawkbears have their own island in the Mourning Isles somewhere." After that, she just paints and talks quietly with Etta, the huffy girl.
