All the singing going on around brought a song from the olden days to mind;
"The time has come in many ways,
To press for better days,
For strength and hope and fam'ly dear

But slaver's bonds do heavy clang

While secrets keep the masses still
And knowledge-keepers kill.

While solitude is very desirable it is likewise worth seeking conversation at times. This is often difficult due to solitude making it more difficult to have people that you feel it is worth having a deep conversation because who wants to speak about personable things with someone they barely know?

I've actually happened to stuble upon several people this week and that's something of a rarity. Not all together undesirable either.

At times, the enemy is visible and fearful but sometimes the enemy is ourselves. Fear or selfishness can cause more problems than an army in the right situations. I must be mindful to keep myself in check and aware of my weaknesses.

I'm considering research on the matter of sanitation as a matter of defense and offense for military purposes. Of course, every general preparing for a siege considers it but often maneuvers can take an extended period of time and it is worth the matter being investigated.

There is something to be said for dogs, I realize there are their downside to them but they are quite personable animals and that offsets the negatives.
