We have all have travelled so far. So much has happened. So many twists and turns, highs and lows. It is a story I could never have predicted.
I gained, lost and found again so many friends and family. Seen amazing things blossom and the greatest of sacrifices made. I have been blessed with good friends and luck on both sides of the coin that has allowed me to become who I am today and who I will become.
Thank you to everyone for making the world what it is. To all those amazing souls whose stories and lives touched mine. So many names. So many people to admire and remember with great fondness.
The future looks so different now. So much has changed. It feels strange to not have something dark and daunting endlessly hanging over our heads. Today, I find myself in a place I never thought I would be, and yet here I stand.
I swore I would not marry again unless it was for love. I am glad I kept my promise. To be true, I never thought it would or could ever happen, and yet here I am finding my heart and home in the arms of a man I love more than anyone in this world.
I still cannot find the words to reflect all that I have in mind, so I shall save that for another time. But what I can say is that is how glad I was so very wrong and I could not ask for better match for he is a someone I respect and adore.
I never thought I would ever be able to say again that I love someone with all my heart. I pray to all the gods and spirits that our future will be a happy one.
Thank you for giving me your heart and for stealing mine, and making what seemed to be impossible possible.
And so starts an new and exciting chapter... I cannot wait to see what happens.

Relationship Note on Kastelon
I miss you so much, Kastelon. So much that it has taken me some time to be able to arrange my thoughts and put quill to parchment. I know that I have my duties to perform and that I should carry on as you told me to do, but the world is so much darker and empty without you.
Arx may or may not fall, but regardless I still wanted to honour your life and you sacrifice whether or not we win or loss all. To have some place special in this mortal world where you will be remembered.
Fortunately, Maggnus and Lizette have much cooler heads than I, and now, in the wildest part of the gardens, we have created a sacred place for you. It's full of tall old trees with sturdy branches and wild flowers. It reminds me of the meadows and groves in the lush, beautiful forests we once rode in. It's a place wild that creatures might like to live. Perhaps even large calm bear with one eye missing.
A small, clear stream meanders through and there are large, lush green pastures. It is quiet and peaceful here. I think you would have liked it.
By the stream there is now large stone carving there of great big beautiful bear, a hound, and a man with the words: "Be as the bear. Where you go, we shall follow" carefully etched into its surface and a plaque that reads: "In loving memory of Kastelon of Keaton, Lord, Voice, dear friend, protector, bear and one of the best of us."
I swear that in the late in the lazy golden afternoons and in the early morn when the sun just wakes and the sky is pink, I can hear your voice saying this in the rustle of the trees and meadow.
Once all this is done we shall put terraces and platforms in the trees like we did so long ago in the other part of the gardens. I will go there to remember you and get as close to the heavens as I can. Perhaps I might see sign of you in the skies at night or just before morning, looking down upon us with your calm hazel eye. Like a bright star or a calm cool moon in happier and more peaceful times.
I miss you so much. More than I dare say. I will never forget you, my dearest friend. I will do as you asked. I promise. I will try. And, I will pray to the Gods above and below that you will return from the wheel again one day soon so that we may meet again.
You will always be in my heart. Thank you for everything.

I am so excited. Our dream to expand the Golden Hart to cities across the Compact is quickly becoming a reality.
The hope and plan was simple but ambitious. To create welcoming places and spaces to help communities improve and achieve their dreams by establishing at least one Hart for each house across the realm to allow each unique community a chance to make the world a better place for themselves and others.
Bringing people together to do great things, inspiring and raising people's spirits, and building support for local community projects, good causes and those in need is my deepest desire and dream.
I want to see all in Avrum and beyond rise, thrive and succeed as much as possible -- now and well into the future.
If the Golden Hart can make a difference in this way, then we are very happy to do so. I, for one, cannot wait to see all the local projects and positive changes that will help our people and many communities blossom and grow as they come into fruition!
I hope more houses and communities reach out and accept our invitation. The more the merrier. For you can never have enough Hart.

I am filled with such happiness and the deepest gratitude to those kind and generous souls who offered their assistance to my Hart as we raised funds support Compact recovery efforts, including relief for refugees, veterans and others affected by the recent war effort.
My most sincere thanks and admiration to the Archduke Patrizio of Pravus, Princess Fatima of Thrax, Princess Renata of Pravus, Mirari Corsetina, Lady Jan of Malespero, Lady Titania of Kennex, the Whisper House, House Kennex, House Whitesurf, House Malespero, House Pravus and all those who wished to donate privately for their incredibly kind donations.
Thanks to their kindness we were able to raise 3,250,000 in silver and 5,000 in economic writs. This will help so many in need. Which is truly amazing for certainly the need for help is great after all that has happened.

We worked very hard to try to make fireweave available in the market so that all those who are going to battle might have more protection.
We were not as successful as we had hoped to be, but thanks the incredible efforts of the Archduke Patrizio of Pravus, Princess Ophelia of Velenosa, Princess Renata of Pravus and the Marquis Cadern of Blackwood we were able to secure enough fireweave to create a small but powerful collection of items to be loaned out to those who are working with Arvani fire or in need of extra protection for our upcoming battles.
In this way, we hope to help support as many fighters as possible as well as those who support them on the battlefield.
The Golden Hart will always rise to support the people of Arvani and the Compact now and in the future. And, as much as we had hoped to outfit more of people, this is a step in the right direction.
I am deeply grateful to all the members of the Golden Hart who made this happen.
Needless to say, if by some miracle we happen to come by more of this material, we will happily make more items available to those in need who are fighting for us and our future.

To be true, I adore good wines from all over our compact. Each vintage can be so different. Same with spirits, I confess I admire the art and the craft of making fine spirits, ales, ciders, meads, teas and wines. All of it.

More excellent news this week. The Princess Renata of Pravus has elected to join the Golden Hart and will be hosting a wonderful event in the coming days along side his Grace, Archduke Patrizio, and my wonderful cousin, Prince Theo.
I'm excited to see what they devise and hope for nothing but their success. My Hart stands fully behind their efforts to help others and my staff are at the ready to assist in any way possible.
I think some very wonderful things that will come of this high-spirited and good-hearted trio. I feel so blessed.

It would seem that the ties of our compact are being tested again, which says to me that it is more important than ever that we remain allied against our common enemy if we are to survive.
We cannot yield to it. No matter how hard they try to sow the seeds of discord among us.
United we are formidable. Torn asunder and fighting each other from within... unthinkable.
I have faith in the people of Avrum and our allies. Each and every one. There is so much skill and experience, and we are rich with strong hearts, clever minds and unwavering will.

Perhaps it is time for another Sip'n Spar?
Something to distract people from their worries if only for a little. To remind them that there is life to be lived and company to be enjoyed. Something more than just another battle or foe to be thwarted. Something that offers pleasure and hope and perhaps eases grind of worry over things we cannot control or what comes.
The Hart has always and will always seek to raise spirits and support for good causes. What better cause than to warm hearts and offer people a chance to come together as one -- even if it is only for a little while.

Winter has returned and with it so so many familiar faces who have long been gone from our city. It feels like something building.
I know things are dire, but I have faith in our people. It will not be easy, but I know we will prevail. There is no other choice.

I am grateful to those who seek to protect us in whatever way they can. As soldiers, strategists, scholars, seafarers, diplomats, crafters, merchants, farmers, healers and leaders of men.
So many, too many, to mention them all. All playing their part, all playing their role. Those who put their shoulder to the wheel as we push on together into what we pray will be a bright new future for us all.

Archduke Patrizio... if feels strange and wonderful to say. I am very happy for him and for all those who will benefit from his appointment. In fact, I cannot think of a better choice to lead Pravus forward.

Life can be frustrating and difficult. We often find ourselves on unexpected paths, or even off the beaten track altogether, when we least expect it. There are twists and turns. Things to know and learn. Worries and challenges both within and without of our control.
However, despite it all, through it all, we find our way and if we are very lucky we realize that even in the darkest of times there are treasures to be discovered along the way.
