His departure from the position of Archlector was a merry respite from having to try to educate the unteachable about things he stubbornly refused to grasp.

If you don't give shavs the chance to say yes, I view that as utterly short-sighted, woefully stubborn, and lamentably expensive.

So, we'll see how it goes. I'm glad to have had help, as this is not in my area of strength. But, the wisdom teaches, one does not get better at things by not doing them. The Whispers had better be on guard because at this rate I'll eventually steal all their party-planning contracts.

It's madness. Oh, I'm aware of the precepts and all, but I cannot imagine anyone in 1000 years wanting to read most of this.
The worst part is that people must be spending hours reading random journals. Do none of them have jobs? If I didn't have to write here, I wouldn't. I have shit to do.

Whenever you’re wrong, admit it; Whenever you’re right, shut up.

Relationship Note on Saoirse
There are the ones who choose it to death or other sentences for crimes. Perhaps you'd like to argue with the Sentinel about justice while "freeing" the host of thieves, murderers, and abusers?
Or there are the ones who, instead of choosing a slow death by starvation - or to be preyed upon in their poverty - have taken out a loan and are repaying it in safety. Yes, their choice to do that to save their families *is* a terrible one and they should never have been given the option. Homelessness and poverty - and the waste of their talents and work ethic - should be forced on them. Better the farmer should lose everything after a drought and the blacksmith after a fire. I'm sure Skald would agree.
If people refuse to understand a thing, perhaps they should refrain from muddying the waters with their blind thrashing about.

Those people are wrong, of course. In war, your days fall into a routine, and everyone looks to their duties as part of that routine; men tend their weapons, meals are served whose menus you don't plan yourself, and battles are fought.
The busiest times are immediately before and after war. Moving people, materiel, and supplies is no simple matter, not to mention the interminable reports.
And then there's speaking with the families of men and women lost under your command...
No, war is relatively simple compared to all that

If I am dead, everything I have goes to Arcelia and she can decide what to do with it. I love her more than I love life itself; she has had all of me in life, so there's no reason why anything should be kept from her in death.
There are notes in my black journals for my sisters. I'd like those read to them.

I do not recommend encountering a kraken. It does not go well.
May Mangata give peace and rest to her faithful sons and daughters who perished. May she forgive my foolhardiness.

To err is human, to forgive is divine.
I have personally witnessed the mistake of human's hubris. If there is going to be any success, learning humility and asking for forgiveness is the first step.
I already know what I am, and I know that I don't like it all much. The evidence of that was made physical upon a gift from my grandfather and again in the shrine.
Knowing what I have to do seems easy. Achieving it will be the hard part. Such are things when your eyes are uncovered.
Please note that the scholars may take some time preparing your journal for others to read.
