Seems like the silks really don't have a clue what is happening in the city. The more rumblings I see from the lower boroughs the more I wonder if they don't secretly hope the bringers will just attack and solve all their indecisions for them. It's easy to raise the banner, to order the charge, to know these things are my enemy... But when it's the folk in the streets, the unhappy masses, they don't have a clue.

He's my Cap'n, boss man, seems like a clever sort... I really need to eventually cook this man some food before he wonders where my stipend is going every week, that being said... I also probably need to make some fire water for him too, I wonder if he's ever drank blood wine before?

She used to be a kid now she's the savvy one and I'm bumbling about. I don't know whether that bothers me or shames me, but it'll have to change sooner rather than later.

Still no pots or pans but I've seen quite a few people in the city so far between the commons and the training grounds. The Valorous Few are interesting so far, I can understand why Julea runs with them. Speaking of Julea, she set met up with my own rooms on the ground level. It was nice of her but I'd best start earning my keep, which means pots and pans.

The caravan trip here was more peaceful than I've found the city to be... I'm not sure what to make of a place where a Princess blithely invites a butcher to be here friend, it's comforting on one hand and suspicious on the other. Not to mention I managed to find a job shortly after stepping foot into a tavern, the pace is so fast and the only thin that is familiar is Julea. Surprise.
