I have been absent, yes, but not idle. For so long I was content to be a pretty Princess drinking my days away in the presence of those that would do for me, but how wasteful was I? For the past year I have studied in seclusion and toiled away, putting my skills to the test until I am certain I can do my due diligence to my new position:

Meditation is good for the soul, but a poor choice for a social life! How many nights have I spent away from Arx, wondering and wishing instead of planning and action? No more, for I have dusted off my finest gowns and feel ready to enjoy life once more, to see what fate waits for me.
