I guess it's time to learn just how little those years and years spent on etiquette lessons, perfected calligraphy, and graceful ballroom dances prepare you for dealing with people outside of your circle of influence and solving problems which can't necessarily be solved with honeyed words or a bag of coin.

Material gains and monuments aren't really what people remember. A true legacy is etched into the minds of others and the stories they share about you. And I suspect you've given us quite a few.
You were one of my oldest friends in the city and it does feel like a significant chapter is closing, but I don't have it in me to be wholly depressed if you've finally got to wherever you wanted to go. We grew side by side; our roots will always be tangled. I'm glad for that. I look forward to seeing you again... whenever that may be.

I managed to take a table from the Tournament of Thorns and it's -amazing-. And smells good. Never really worked with myrtle, myself... maybe I should change that.

I have decided to finally get better at falconry.
It is a little ironic that I name my 'Whitehawk', have the best falconer in the city as a paramour, a majestic mews built in Hawkhold... and yet I haven't taken any lessons since I was a squire. And back then I wasn't an ounce good at it.
That should change. Hopefully.

Iron Guards come in all shapes and sizes, as do their blades. Or maces. Or bows.

That was an exhilarating melee! I did not fare as well as I hoped I would, but I enjoyed fighting alongside Princess Marian. She makes a terrific impromptu melee partner!
