Relationship Note on Kedehern
The twins just turned five the other day, we did not have a huge party of them, we just spend it together as a family. Afterward, Kedehern and I discussed the idea of having another child, if the time was right or not. We came to the decision that there was not a right time, and that we would see what happens.

I thought it might be prudent to jot this note down in my journal.
If you and your spouse find yourself to be parents of new born twins, I offer you the same advice my own mother had given me when I was a new mother of twins.
Higher a nanny for each baby, it will help you immensely.

House Laurent has always been a part of my life, even when I was a child, growing up as a Keaton in Oakhaven. They were our liege lord, I remember my mother and father teaching me about them. About their history, and our own, too. Once I came to Arx, I had the pleasure of meeting Duke Cristoph, and Lady Jael, and becoming friends with them both. And even getting to adventure with them on many occasion, as well with Duchess Nicia.
And then, I was blessed with meeting Kedehern, and marrying into House Laurent, becoming family with them. I miss Keaton, and my family there, but I have never regretted, or thought negatively, ever, upon my choice of marrying into Laurent. Surprisingly finding myself to be the Aunt of the Duke and his siblings, hilariously enough, especially being younger than the Duke.
While I am now a Fortier, we are still family, as it was Cristoph that supported Kedehern and myself in finding a new barony under Laurent. We have been extremely blessed with the Duke's and House Laurent's support over these years. And I would not be the person I am without having met Cristoph, Jael, Nicia, Mabelle, Flavian, Eiran, and all of the Laurents that I've had the pleasure of meeting over the years.
A building can be rebuilt, it is the people that make up House Laurent that make that building what it is. They are the heart, and spirit of the place. We will rebuild. And we will come through this even stronger together.

Relationship Note on Kedehern
Tomorrow the twins turn two, it has been a wondrous adventure being their mother, and learning how to be a parent with Kedehern. It's been a blessing. I look forward to getting to continue to watch them both grow. And now we get to add another child to our little pack. We had a couple names already picked out, but I feel the name we decided to go with is a wonderful choice, and will honor a good friend.

Relationship Note on Amari
I'm glad we managed to find a little time to talk, and even have some tea and pastries. But more importantly to just talk, while it might not have been about recent losses and tragedies, or mentions of poisonings. It was of other topics, that matter a great deal as well. Ones we have been working on for quite some time, in fact. It was good to have a chance to discuss them, and formulate a plan so that we can continue to work and move forward on them. And it is always reassuring to know that you have another's support in your endeavors. Thank you for always being there to support me, and listen to me.
And if Marigold does decide to climb any trees, I'll come get her down for you.

It's a shame that they did what they did to the cake.

Loss is such a hard thing to put to words, and to properly and truly express it. The loss of Eirlys was devastating to say the very least, and I had thought, or hoped I would not feel that again. At least not for some time. Her death had purpose, a purpose she choose, putting others above herself selflessly.
And now I find myself rocked by the loss of another long time friend, and family member. While not family by blood, but marriage, that matters not. Nicia was family and friend, and confident at times when I had felt lost and unsure of what to do. A trustworthy counsel, a steady hand.
I swear to Limerence, Gloria, and the Sentinel that her death, as well as my nephew-in-laws, will not go unpunished. You will be hunted down, and face the proper punishment for the crimes and atrocities you committed.
Many died for your evil machinations. And justice will prevail.

We still needed to find skilled Alchemists to help us with reversing a poison that has been used on some of the trees in Mistward's forests. I fear for them, and do not wish to see further harm come to those that are sick, or possibly see healthy ones grow sick because of the poison.
If the person that has done this heinous, and most disgusting act happens to be reading this journal, we will find you. And you will be punished for what you have done. I will not abide someone harming the land.

Relationship Note on Amari
Cousin, it might still be a good a idea to have the items cleansed, or at least prayed over. About seven years back, or so, Gaston, Eirlys, and I found some old items in a tree. And Gaston decided to put one of the items on, an armband, and found that it was cursed. All the animals hated him, and tried to attack him, constantly. We ended up learning we had to get it and the other items cleansed. I'd hate to see all the animals turn upon you, or something worse.

Relationship Note on Amari
I'm so glad Amari has returned from her trip safe and sound. I missed her greatly, and thought of her often. Hoping and praying things would be well, and she would find what she was looking for. It is perhaps a bit selfish, but I like knowing my cousin is just a short walk from me. And that I can seek her out whenever I need someone to talk to.

I recently got news from Princess Lou that the Society of Explorers are ready to help Kedehern and I map parts of House Fortier's land. I'm very excited for this, I believe it will be great fun, and a chance to have a bit of adventure right in our own backyard as it were. I wonder what we will find!

Cini really loves it when people sing. I think I've come to realize that it is not about how good one can sing. But about how they feel the song that they sing. One can be terrible at singing, but feel what it is they are singing about in their heart. And that is what I think she loves. At least that is what I like to believe that she loves about it. That the song is felt, and expressed. No matter how perfectly, or wonderfully it is sung.

Relationship Note on Kedehern
Thank you for the wonderful day we spent on my birthday, it was perfect. Going for a ride outside of the city, getting to be out and enjoying nature, and the picnic we made was just fantastic. An amazing day spent together. Here is to hoping for many more.

I had the most peculiar dream the other night, I dreamed I had heard Cini and Kacela talking about me. The two seemed to me having a discussion about who would be responsible for looking after their new human. So strange. I wonder if I had too many sweets that night, or perhaps it was mushrooms. Goodness I hope Brimbar didn't find more of those mushrooms, and accidentally bring one home with her, and I just never noticed... going forward, we shall be mushroom free. Just in case. The strangest things happen around mushrooms.
