It is good to be returned to Arx again. It isn't that I dislike the north, but the snow I've already heard people complain about here felt more like the Autumn there.

I've started a small business in trading collector coins, giving people good trades using my personal funds for the particularly unusual or exotic coins they bring to one of the mercantiles I operate. It so far hasn't generated anything of note, and the sale of the coins to other collectors hasn't covered the expenses involves.
If the coins cropping up continue to be unexciting I will discontinue the practice.

Trade between Ashford and Crovane has begun. The Laveer port has proved critcal to realizing this, I will have to meet and give my respects to the leadership there soon.
I have elected to sign fealty exclusivity contracts with both Crovane and Ashford. This means I will not be taking on further contracts with other Houses of Redrain or of Grayson. This will keep me from fully realizing some opportunities, but it will show that I am true to my motto. Those houses I work with will have reliable service from me.
Holding true to my model, that allows for three more clients whom I look forward to securing. The result of my work will speak for itself.

The role I played for the Redrains in supporting that ill fated city in the north was more needed than I knew. Once the city burned there was all the more need for ready supply lines. Fortunately the supply lines were kept safe, thanks to the valiant men in the service of Valardin. It was humbling to be a part of such a union of multiple houses. I hope to see more such joint efforts, and hope to be able to give my service again.

I've been attempting to settle in with in Arx. It is very different from home, and I daresay I picked a terrible time to relocate. Still, business is business. I am sure people will come around to seeing the value of my services, I just need to find the right demonstration of proper fiscal wisdom to encourage it.
