I have learned that I have a strong dislike for large gatherings. The ball was so wonderful, but I find myself awkward and have little connections such as the ones others in my Family have.
Add to that that I am a Wall tree instead of a wallflower due to my bulk and it is well, a bit overwhelming. I think I need to have some lessons in Courtly gatherings. Funny, I know since I am a Lord, but still. Grazia handles all that sort of thing.

It has been sometime since I've sat down and written here. So, I will do this now.
I have found friendship in a variety of family in Arx, and continue to meet a variety of interesting people in my travels throughout the city. I've not managed to find someone who would be able to make the armor I require yet, but even that search is enjoyable. Now if I can manage to hire a Majordomo and perhaps a whisper who I appreciate, all will be settling in the proper channels. I've been blessed to have such an easy transition.

I have now made a few contacts in the city, but one of them truly did interest me. Princess Macda seems to have such a formality about her that truly seems refined and well practiced rather than overblown and attention seeking. She interests me as a person and it was a pleasure to make her acquaintance.

Making Relationships in the city has been quite easy as of late. Yet, none of them has been interesting as meeting you. Again sometime. The wine was great after all.

It's been a few weeks since I've arrived to the city and I can firmly come to this assumption. My sister has a head for politics that I am missing. My artist brother is again doing art things and his partner I have not met since my arrival, and that I am far behind many of the other fighters in the city. It...is going to be a long journey over the next few months.
