What is one to do when one fails to prevent the death of an innocent? Was there something that could have been done to spare them such a short and gruesome end. And why must it always come down to blood more and more? Perhaps it's due to delving too deeply into the subject. Blood. So obviously vital, but now this other reason. More than symbolism. Hints of something deeper and older and potent. As if it could be counted as a kind of currency to others. I must prevent any future tragedies, and those that would prey on innocents. Somehow. I must learn more.

I will not shy away from delving deep. I must remember, that when one tends a garden or works in the fields, one's own hands will become dirty in the process. Working in soil is never completely clean and the earth is rich. However, I ~will~ make sure the gloves worn go all the way to the elbow.

Relationship Note on Eos
Had a very interesting walk atop the SeaWatch walls. The view is as incredible as always. But to have company and able to listen to a story touching upon the Golden Guard and their Lord, made it even better. At this rate, I may even conquer this fear of heights.

The eastern wall and its Seawatch gate is an awe inspiring sight. I must thank Lady Calypso for the opportunity to tour it. What a vista to devour atop the massive edifice. I must admit the vertigo almost distracted me, but it was well worth it. This must be a portion of what rulers feel as they consider their responsibilities and duties and bordering neighbours.
