Relationship Note on Samael
Everyone's talking about proteges and it kind of reminded me that I finally got a patron.
Lord Samael Bisland has offered to take me under his wing and teach me about the law and stewardship. Pays me too.
I think it's a horrible deal for him. Great for me though.

I know I should be working on stocking my shop but I find myself thinking of other projects. Three to be precise.
One, a gift for a commoner whose skills I admire. The concept is done and drafted, I simply need to purchase the seasilk.
The second, a gift for a woman who I have only heard tales of and never met. Aeterna and seasilk. I laugh at the amount of work I'll need to complete to afford it.
The third? A gift for a woman who might not even exist. Seasilk again, I think. Seasilk and crushed red gems.

Lord Apollis invited me to a ball on account of some odd challenge.
We're talking ideas for the dress soon and he insists it should be backless. I'm not sure my back is pretty enough for that.

I still remember when we were children, how sad I was to see you go. Every passing Knight of Solace was given a death glare! Not that I was ever very intimidating, 'specially not at that age.
To see you again was a delight. It was as if nothing had changed even after all of those years past, as if you'd left a day ago and just returned home early. You're still my cheerful, bellowing friend.
And you give the best hugs! Really makes a girl feel appreciated to get picked up and spun around.

Every morning I have to remind myself that I'm one step closer to having my own shop. That someday I'll be done making napkins and linens for them Upper Boroughs folks.
