Exploring and getting out more has been great for me. I have met many more friends, and feel that the city is opening up to me in ways it had not prior to my absense. Here's to future endeavors with new friends!

I had a lovely conversation earlier this week with Lord Dycard Blackshore, who has just joined the Society of Explorers. I am delighted to see someone else with similar passions join the organization, and hope to have the opportunity to share some books with him in the future. Lady Mabelle Laurent helped connect us, and I am, as always, impressed by her thoughtfulness. I hope we all can connect more in the future.

Having settled more firmly into the city, I decided it was time to join both the Scholars and the Harlequins. Now that I'm more firmly in place, I'm pleased to announce I've taken on a protege, one Guardsman Warrick Morgan. I've had occasion to work with the guardsmen in the past, and I very much respect them.

I quite enjoyed playing the stragey game Lady Videl Igniseri created and heartily recommend it to others. I'm fond of strategy games in general and always like to play against new people. I encourage anyone with any interest in a game or three to seek me out.

The bookshelves in my quarters at Ashford House are becoming more populated. I've decided to split the manuscripts from the shorter reports.
I think my favourite new addition to my collection is Lady Brianna's Our Horrifying World, from which I learned if you hold a bird upside down, it cannot swallow. Most of the other facts are indeed much more horrifying. I'll never look at pigs the same way again.

It's been snowing, great big puffy flakes. It's beautiful, and I wouldn't have experienced it down south. It makes my leg ache a bit, but I just have to be dutiful about my exercises.
My friend Whitley has come to the city to work for me; an extra nose poking into the books will be a great help.
I've met quite a few people thus far in the city, none of them disagreeable as of yet. There are all sorts of social events to attend and it seems there's always someone to spar or play a game of Stones with. I could learn to like this, though I should probably refrain from more drinking contests.

It's chilly in Arx, here on the cusp of winter. My cousins Olivia and Rhiannon have welcomed me and I've a room of my own now at Ashford House. I'll need to have a poke around the city and see about visiting the Society of Explorers. This is me, not neglecting my duties.
