I am apologizing to Princess Alarissa and taking back my challenge that I put up a while ago. Many might not remember. That being said Princess Alarissa was a wonderful patron. I was wrong to challenge her and I was mostly being just pissy as I didn't want to stop being her protege. The princess is a fine woman and elegant noble and a good patron.

I am deeply honored that Lady Mabelle invited me to work on honeysilk with her. I find her to be a wonderful inspiration. I adore honeysilk and feel honored and grateful to be apart of the creation of such. I look forward to working with the material and starting to make outfits out of such. Petal

Lord Cillian has never been kept from his child and was welcomed to see her everyday with or without me present since day one of us parting ways. I believe he was aware of such since day one and he has been told such several times. It is true that I have not walked away from my daughter's life or given him full custody. I put some limits - such as not taking her to nighttime adult parties or keeping her from me for an extended time (she is still very young). However, he has never been kept away from his child.

Calla Lily (My Daughter and Lord Cillian's daughter) is welcome to see Lord Cillian and the other Blackwoods often (everyday) if they so wish. I do have a few limits in place to be sure she is safe. I completely support her father being part of her life and a part of her life on a daily basis if he wishes for such.

My husband and I are parting, and it is with sorrow I see him go, but I am glad for the opportunities he is getting to pursue. While we are no longer romantically attached, and no longer husband and wife, I still care for him, and I will ensure that he is still part of Cala Lily's life. When she comes of an age, if her father and the head of his house are still amenable, she will choose whether she will join him among the nobility. But until then, I will make sure that she wants for nothing.

Cillian and myself have just had a daughter
Cala Lily Weatherwood.
She is named Cala Lily for my past patron the Archduchess Eleyna and also for the many lilies growing at the lodge. We are thankful to Marquis Reigna who helped to care for me during the pregnancy and who was my doctor during the birth. We are doing well - Cala Lily, Cillian and myself.

I very much adore Seatouched wool and am super grateful toward the Keatons for helping to event such and to Mistress Aurora as well for also helping to event such. I am going to list all the things I love Seatouched Wool!
1. It is both warm and soft, making it great for autumn and winter.
2. It allows for ease of motion - making it good for people who need to work and move around.
3. It is a nice upgrade from wool for us commoners with silver to spend - but who still have to work and worry about the weather. It is the perfect fabric for me to wear.
4. But is also fancy enough for nobles to wear to about and even to their parties.
Or basically seatouched wool is the best and the most popular in my shop right now too. I can never get enough of it for orders and keep running back to the market to get more.

I will be giving way lily plants at the gathering I am planning at the Lodge. I am going to be opening the lily garden in honor of Archduchess Eleyna my previous patron now that it is spring. We will also be praying to Petrichor, showing our gratitude and asking for help the plants and land there. I have high hopes that it will go well.

I am still not taking commissions.
My reasoning is that I work on what I want when I want and at the speed I want.
The second is that if I have a to do list, the joy of creation becomes buried deeply
beneath the burden of obligation. Art is lost to the need for speed. Appreciation
vanishes in the haggling process. Guilt rises as it takes me longer and longer to
compete an order or as I far more and more behind. Trips out public become
stressful as I start to worry about what might be added to my list of things to
make as people see me.
It is never personal when I say no to a commission,I am saying no to everyone.
I would say no the king himself. If i make any kind of exception it is because
I wanted to make the item anyways. But even then I have to careful. I forget about
orders as my skips to the next project. I rarely want to make what I have to
make. The true pleasure in creation is creation that comes from joy and desire.
So please if I say not a commission understand it is about me and my art and
not about who asked or how much I like them.

I started to work on a line of Lily themed clothing in honor of the ArchDuchess Eleyna, my past patron.
While I realize that she was the White Lily, I am doing clothing in all sorts of Lilies. They clothing will include gowns, but also some more masculine outfits. ArchDuchess Eleyna was very creative and very supportive of my work and I think she will like all the different kinds of lilies.
Profits from the sales will be used to help fund growing lots of lilies at the Lodge in Spring and giving lily plants away for free in spring.

I have gone over and over in my head what I should do to honor her and finally it occurred to me.

I am very busy with spring planting at the moment. For me spring planting, is really the most important time, but harvest time is pretty important to.
I am working four major projects regarding operation grow lots and lots of plants.
The first one is planting the lodge, both the flowers there and the orchard too of course. That seems to be going well and I very much appreciate those who came to help with the planting, especially as news of the road was just reaching us. Some still came out to help even while mourning loses. The lodge planting is going well and the lodge will be more beautiful and filled with flowers than ever. That being said I am very thankful to all those who helped to protect the Lodge. It is because of them that we had a spring planting at all.
The next project is planting lots of copper poppies in honor of Copper. Princes Lorenzo asked me to make something in honor of her and help distribute such. There is nothing that comes from me that is as special as flowers and so I worked on finding, growing, planting and distributing these flowers in her honor. If anyone would like some, I would be happy to provide them with some copper poppies for free. Just send me a message.
The third project is working on the plants of Farwatch. I am working on building up their agriculture. I am very excited and hopeful of an abundant fall harvest in the future.
The next project is increasing plants in Compact in general. That is why I am offering free apple trees, blue berry bushes, strawberry plants, tulips and other flowers to those who are interested in increasing the plants on their grounds. Just send me a message if one is interested.
Because really the more plants the better.

For one night I was something different.
Sometimes I just work work and more work. Although much of work is an absolute pleasure. I adore my gardening. I adore my flowers and I adore gardening at the lodge. When I have creative freedom, I love making clothing and furniture. Although many know I am not the best at following another's vision. I is a huge flaw of mine and why I am not the best to place an order with. I am slow, grumpy and stubborn about doing thing my way.
I went to the Mirrored Mask Ball expecting to look at the costumes and go. Even though I didn't take orders for hat event my masks are everywhere and sure enough I saw many of the masks I had made there.
But it was a ball and a costume ball and I didn't come as myself. Then I got into not being myself and then things went a direction that was pretty much unbelievable. I keep thinking back on that night, wondering was it real? At the masked balls of mirrors unexpected things can happen. People don't stay in their slots and roles.
I am the quiet hard working girl of flowers and creating. I don't normally dance and I rarely get much attention at big gatherings, nor do I seek such or generally even want such. Half the time when people speak to me beyond a greeting in public, it because they they want this gown or that umbra coat. But that night was different.

I am making autumn gowns! I might make an autumn outfit for men too. They are not as much fun to make outfits for though as the princesses and ladies.
My favorite thing to make is clothing with plants and flowers. Because really plants and flowers are the most beautiful of all. Much more beautiful than people.
Autumn is the perfect time for such. And so project autumn flora clothing is in the works!

Juniper Whisper just wrote me the most wonderful request for a gown that I ever got before. Her way of asking, I think was a work of art. I am putting her down on my list to make clothing for. I also have Lord Salvatore waiting and I appreciate how very patient he has been. And Princess Isidora. I made her dragon gown, but then I got bored by the slippers. I still have dragon slippers on my list!
That being said I am also am very busy. I am trying to keep my shop stocked for gift giving day, which isn't easy. Stuff sells so quickly. I have a design for Aion themed starry sleepy table in the works.
But also I should be baking honey cakes or some kind of cakes and mead. With all those people coming to help protect the lodge, I want to have something to offer them. Dame Leola thinks maybe especially the Iron Guard would like honey cakes and knowing the nobles of Arx, I think they probably want lots of booze.

I am not a very reliable person to place an order with. That is why I never charge until I am finished. True art comes when inspired and all my gowns are works of true art. I can't create the art on demand and I can't work through the labor of a do list. I frequently even have a hard time remembering what was ordered. The people of Compact have been amazing to me, a prodigal from Northern Mountains and for the most part very understanding about my order times. Sometimes I have a list of orders, but what I want to make is a honeybee gown or a swing. I am much more likely to be able to make something with flowers or animal or that Petichor might like. I apologize to those who are waiting while I make other things.
I would say I can't help, but maybe I can help it. But I don't think if I tried to help it and if I stayed strictly to the order list that I would still be the artist that I am. The beauty would be lost in the labor of obligation. The art would be swallowed up by the duty. You can place orders with me, at your own risk. It might get done. It might not get done. I will never take a single silver until and less it is done. If it is done, it will be a true piece of art, with sweat and love and energy put into it. I am very grateful for all those who interested in the lodge right now. I do want to remind people the lodge is a wild nature sanctuary.
Visits are most certainly welcome and when I am around, I would be happy to show anyone about. I just got the orchard all ready and there will be lots of fruit and berries soon. We also have a new hot springs there and our gardens are blooming.
But I want to gently remind people to be careful of the wildlife there. When walking please try not to trample on any flowers. When visiting my field of petals, please do walk while looking at the ground and staying on the path. With so many people coming through, some of the more delicate plants could easily be smashed.

I am really excited to see who won the cloaks. I worked very very hard on those and it is exciting to them to go to such wonderful people of Arx.
