Oft times, it takes but the smallest thing to recall what we are supposed to do, especially when we are floundering. I am grateful for all that the pantheon has provided and influenced within our family. I do hope that what we offer in return will one day count for something.

Relationship Note on Apollo
Guildmaster Apollo has been such an inspiration over these past few weeks. Aiding us in various trade details, but also we discovered a hidden talent within the man, an ability to tailor clothing. It is such a thing that my Sun has already commissioned a whole new wardrobe from him and I will admit that despite my complete disregard for current fashion, he has even managed to convince me to be excited.
I look forward to what he presents.

Relationship Note on Sunniva
The last month has flown by, Summer changing to Autumn at record pace, though I must say that having Sunniva here to support and rally the cause of Harthall has been uplifting and freeing. With her desire to see the world a better place and her heart for all, it has allowed me to focus on those things that I find myself better at and so that she can shine where she does excel. Already the connections she has brought from all over and restored the relationship with House Laurent, it has been wonderful and truly it reminds me of the time that we first arrived in Arx, when we set forth with a plan and a purpose, before she had to leave of course.
But now that she is returned, the plans and desires to continue to strengthen in all areas are returned, I find myself with room to breathe and think again. It is wonderful and I am truly glad that she is here.

Relationship Note on Hali
The Crimson Blades have been very quiet these past few months, though I have known that their new training areas have been a success. I wish them well in their endeavors. That is not to say that it was with some unexpected pleasure that we were greeted by one Hali Harvey of the Blades. She is quite a ball of energy, and I think that the Blades themselves have done well in taking her on. It brought back many memories and stories that I felt I must share. Familiar faces, and remembrances do litter my path these days.

You have returned, my lovely Sun. Such a period of years it has been since last you left, but now you are back in Arx and I fear for us all. It shall be a beautiful sight to see what sort of touch your caring heart does bring to the city. You were gone far too long, but that is the past, we must look to the future. There is much that remains to be done, though I am strengthened to have you here, and I know that we shall be an even far more formidable force because of your presence!

I have always been curious as to how the various forms of the faith diseminated throughout the Compact and the Abandoned. There are constants in many of the liturgies, but the differences can be either minute, or vast depending on which ones you compare. Curiously at this time I find myself in need of someone whom truly understands Mangata, for there do the seas tend to throw waves of change upon such theology.

Trade affected and the commons beginning to riot. I can understand and appreciate the reasons for such things. Hopefully we'll begin to see the effects of the relief that we're supplying reach those whom need it most.

There is report that one of my cousins was slain in the middle of battle, and now I must recover the body and deal with things that brought this turn of events about.

Emissaries from all over are coming to Arx and all at once, which means that times are changing. There is opportunity here, perhaps, of course this could all be some strange coincidence, but truly, I think we've all moved on from such a notion.

The hunt is coming, a long standing tradition for Harthall from a time before we were islanders. It is only in our history books now that we have such stories, but even still, we brought elk to the island and they have thrived, perhaps not as well as they did upon the mainland, but even now they are prolific enough that the meaning behind the hunt has not failed to be upheld.
I look forward to the return to my home as well as to the new family and friends that will be joining us this year.

It is truly family whom can recall the past and the entirety of our lives and in so doing, provide the most perfect of gifts for us in such times. Lady Ouida Harthall is both as wise and intelligent as she is loyal. I fear that whomever shall fall for her will be in for quite a formidable battle.

Relationship Note on Ouida
Sometimes the act of simply having family nearby when there are struggles can be balm enough. However, as our Sword and the Minister of Defense, I do find that the Lady Ouida has been instrumental in aiding the House during our current adventures. It is good to have you with us again, dear sister and I do hope that you will continue to shine as such an example for the years to come.

Once again, my sister has proven to be an amazingly adept and perceptive individual. She has set aside so much of her own hobbies to pursue the advancement of the house and were it not for her insights on various aspects, I fear that we could have been left with a little egg on our face in the coming days. As it is, we have avoided a small set back and have turned it into a strong win for Harthall.

Once again, I am impressed by the family that has come to Arx with me. They have taken to the city and shown they can soar, no matter the conditions, I am truly blessed to have them here with me. I shall look forward to all that they will accomplish in the years to come, even as turbulent waters threaten the Compact on all shores.
