Whitehawk family had a wonderful, arts and crafts Gala. I attended, and though I did not win any of the raffle prizes, it was a wonderful event to attend.

Ida has finished my Dagger, the workmanship on it, is excellent. Im quite pleased with her work and will have to ensure that I praise her for her work when I get the chance.

The Royal Ball was massive, and I was about the lowest ranked person in the room.. Princesses and princes were in abundance, and the dancing was marvelous. it was oddly wihtout rancor, though there was some hard feelings in somespots. It was well worth the time though.

Its been an interesting week. the Graysons had a memorial dinner for those lost at the lodge. It was a night of rememberance but meeting new people. I pray that there are no more usch meals though.

The Princess Zara was accosted in some way last evening. I know that its not actually my position, but, as her cloak was torn beyond use, I have contacted a tailor to make a new one for her. She is focused on helping others, so perhaps it is good to help her a bit.

Its been a busy week. I attended the Grayson dinner, and found that it had been declared a memorial for a Grayson that I had not met. He was clearly much beloved, and I wish I had met him. But it was an enlightening eveneing, both as I watched my pupil, and as I met many nobles I had not met before.

I need to spend some time outside of the library's. The Lord Rymarr has indicated he has some tasks for me that may take me outside the city. And that means Im going to need to make sure I can handle the rigors of the road, as well as being prepared for it. I am going to start looking into gear and training for such an endeavor.

The Princess Macda is sharp of mind. She seems amiable to me teaching her, and I am disposed to do so. She has a fire and steel in her that I find admirable. Its a primal natural energy that can be a wonder and benefit to everyone. I hope that in some way I can help her to focus it.
