Why is good inspiration so difficult to capture in glass? I suppose the challenge also is part of the necessity, but I must master this for the muse.

I will make this damned work if it kills me. On that note, I do not recommend picking up one's broken glass themselves. That path ends with many cuts.

What are these spirits that the Northerner is so fixated by? In my many wandering thoughts, I now wonder if there might be an easier way to learn about such things. The curious mind wonders how the other lives.

It is good to be back at work again. The time between having artistic inspiration is definitely the darkest of times. It's as if there's no light left in the sky. No warmth in the winter. But the the redhot flame of the muse strikes again and suddenly all makes so much more sense. All is much closer to right again.

Ah, the true devastation that comes with a work lost. An experience of glass set in such a beautiful entropy, glittering across the planes of stone. The glitter in the dark. My great work - now nothing but that which cuts scattered across every surface. Perhaps I will seal it up, add a window, and pay people to look upon such devastation with something that drew one away so long. I hardly feel like the same man I was before. Who are these people? Do they remember my face, my voice, or was all given to the work? I can only look forward to finding out.
