I think my rum contest went very well and I am very excited for the mead contest I am now in the process of planning. Prince Grimgar gave me the most lovely earrings while I was hosting. Truly a very thoughtful Bear. I am very blessed he has decided to court me. I just hope that he doesn't get scared away like the others. I know I have my quirks and I do have to organize things a specific way after all. I am curious where Princess Valencia and I will decide two host the mead contest and also who we will acquire for a third judge. Who loves meads? I should try to acquire someone who is as obsessed with mead as I am with rum, truly.

I am excited for my future rum contest and eager to receive more rums for judging. I wonder which ones might win, what amazing things will be made with the vouchers that are the prizes. And I am already thinking up future contests as well. One for mead I will hold at the Golden Hart. Then I wish to host another at a new location for ales and wines to compete, not against one another, in two seperate categories upon that night. And then Another new location for light and dark liquors, also into two seperate categories. I think such parties can be quite the amount of fun and bring just how creative all the lovely people of Arx are. Such creation brings my heart joy.

It has been a few productive weeks. Keeping myself busy to not focus on recent family loss. I do hope Count Fredrik is safe on his travels, I saw a lot of promise in him as my protege. And more and more things are coming together for my rum tasting contest I will be holding. And making more progress on making my dream into a reality. Everything is beginning to wonderfully fall into place. I feel that there is still even more for Arx to offer in terms of inspiration and I welcome all of it.

As I sip upon some rum within the Ebb & Flow, I ponder where in the city that would be a good neutral ground to hold a rum contest. Still pondering what sort of prize to give to the winner, perhaps I could see about having a trophy of wood or of stone commissioned. I will need to start looking for artists as well as alchemists for another project I have upon my mind.

So far my arrival within Arx has been absolutely lovely. My room is all painted as I like it. I have recieved a few offers for proteges and have decided to take up one of them and still interviewing for others. I am very excited about my passion projects and future adventures. Now I just need to find where I will want to host a rum contest and what to have as a prize for the winner. And other judges of course. I would welcome suggestions upon location and fellow judges should any have them, please do send them by missive.
