I had the opportunity to attend a gathering at rivenshari and watch children at play. in the course of events, two young sisters got into an argument. their parent gently corrected them and after a few tense moments, the girls apolologized and joined hands to go skating. Thi week I unexpectedly attend a remembrance for those that died in the Silent war. A variety of songs and stories were shared and it struck me that they encompassed the breadth and depth of emotion associated with war. rage. defiance. sadness. regret. the stories reflected a time before i came to arx about which I knew little and so I learned a great. Some of the words struck me as brutal, but then war is a brutal. I think the song attributed to sparte touched umost closely with my own feelings on the subject of war in general, acknowledging the regret and pain associated with it while acknowledging the necissity of fighting. i was once again reminded that there are multiplesides to every story. for each told and shared. many unshared. shring and remembering is important

always fun to watch others spar in the training ring. I feel compelled try myself again next time and perhaps afford others the same enjoyment that they afford me despite my lack of skill. , for anyone anyone can have a good or bad fight and both are of value. No one will ever see shiny diamond plate where i'm concerned, however

The winter ride at the Clements was such a pleasure. I think the horses and the dogs enjoyed it as much as we did. Lord Vitalis and Baron Norwood had the kindness to host drake and i for a pleasant ride on an interesting course and a wonderful dinner afterwood. I don't think they realized it was the first time I spent a relaxing evening with my brother in quite some time. We've both been busy and running in different directions lately. my only regret was that Thea was at home recovering from injuries and unable to join us.

It is surprisingly more freeing than one might imagine
A mix of comfort and excitement % r The exhilaration of letting the waves of one's emotions carry one along. The joy of hearing the sound of the wind as it filters through the waves
5r yet the security of traveling with others
drawn together by a bond of affection and desire, a common goal
Having a feeling of belonging
Sating one's curiosity by learning about one's schoolmate
yet the fish is not bound by force to the others
Free to swim in its own direction
Returning to the school by choice to find one's peace and center
