I will stand by my opinion that there's something magical about babies. They aren't cute when they first pop out but I've never even met someone else who doesn't think they're adorable. I'm glad there's something magical about them, if that is the case.

I joined the Empyrean this week, I think it might be a good fit. I still have my goals and desires but some things may take longer than expected with the whirlpool though. Much has changed from that.

It almost feels like normal, almost. Things still aren't settled so long as the whirlpool is there but maybe there are ways to work around it all. I suppose time will tell. Hopefully the whirlpool is resolved soon though.

I've managed to make my way back to town after quite a bit scurrying about. It's hard to know if I'll be able to stay for an extended period but at least for now and hopefully for a while I'll be in my own bed!

I made a pass through Arx for a short respite. I expect it won't be too long but I thought at least a night in my own bed was worth the slight side trip. And since I'm sure you're reading this, you know why the main reason I stopped by.

I have a tendency to call the babies mutant tyrant gnomes to be funny to Svana. Yesterday she said they're not mutants to which I stated, "Fine, they're tyrant gnomes." Someone else happened to hear about the gnomes and mistook it as me knowing gnomes. It was hilarious but I best be careful if gnomes exist, they might take offense at the comparison.

I build a little village out of coins yesterday. Svana said maybe we could use building blocks so they weren't swallowed. As if I'd swallow coins. What a silly woman!

I wonder what would happen to a bird if it sneezed while it was flying? Would it fall because it stopped flapping or would it go up because it shot out air from its mouth. Do birds sneeze? It would be a funny sight, I should try to see if I can figure this riddle out!

On a side note, I saw Caleb yesterday. I'm not sure if it's Lord Caleb or what his exact position is but whenever I see him, it reminds me of Edowyn. That's not to say all kids around that age don't remind me of Edowyn but sometimes I have trouble holding it together but then it's just been a long couple months. Things will certainly start looking up again.

I met Princess Drea yesterday. I don't really know anyone from the Redrain family except in the most vague connection and really this makes sense. She was quite a pleasant sort too, she talked and listened and was quite kind. She seems like she's interested in some of the same things I am, or at least she finds interesting, the things I am interested in.

I think the gnome needs a little pointed hat. I'm not quite certain why, maybe it'll be to cover his pointed head! Hah! Everyone says I'll think it's adorable when it's born, I hope they're right. Regardless, I quite expect I will love it.

I've not had much opportunity to get ahead on some of my own goals but it has been quite pleasant to see some fruit from work behind the scenes in helping others accomplish their goals. I am hoping that perhaps things will slow down enough that I can get my feet under me and move forward.
