This week started with some interesting things of note. I have been studying a few tomes and information. Here and there. Basically preparing for when the enemy arrives. For that I am training some of my abilities first. I need to have good form and good range but also solid close quarter combat. I been feeling like a predator who is poised to strike with every fiber of their body ready to move into ths hunt. But no... I'm not foolish. There is no shame in a tactical retreat. Rathee live another day and have another opportunity to change your world.

Hm. High Lord Victus mentioned that there seems to be pirates on the side. I wonder... Perhaps we can find their hideout and directly strike at them. ... Perhaps I am overthinking it.

Today there was an activity in House Thrax, which I attended. House Thrax... While I know they have been warlike, I am pretty thankful that despite all things, they are one of our great Houses. I guess its because they are willing to act against the enemies of the compact, and spend lest time in talking and diplomacy. I'm not saying those talents: talking and diplomacy are not important. But when the diplomacy and talk fails, I'm glad House Thrax is ready to crack skulls. And with their Highlord Victus Thrax, I'm certain only greatness awaits them.

I have met all sorts of odd and wonderful people. Of course this is probably easier because I'm not yet doing anything particularly stressing. But soon I will. May the Gods be with me.

Things have sort of calmed down. The Clement wedding went without a hitch. I guess I'm akward at that type of thing. Give me my bow and arrows anytime of the week. And put me in a forest. Now that's life!

Few days ago we were investigating the dissapearance of ships with the Order. However it seems I pushed beyond my physical limitations... I was extremely exhausted and ended up falling asleep. The things a man has to do to get things done. Clearly I got it done... even... well no ai fell asleep so obviously I didn't solve the case. But hey, I was there and the intention counts, I think.

Well, here I am in the biggest city in Arvum: Arx. And just here for a short time and apparently trouble was brewing. Thankfully it was just an issue that was quickly solved: we found the gems and managed to stop the group who was involved in it. Seems like they had some sort of criminal ring. Good thing it was handled rather quickly.
