I heard a curious whisper of a name follow me about the city today as I was collecting up some new fabrics for playing with. I'm honored and a little bewildered at it. And a bit charmed. I've done a lot this past year between the fabrics, the Knight Games, and... well. I have devoted time to my people and my family and I don't intend to stop.

Just wait until autumn, and in the right forest, your cloak will blend in. In other seasons, though, I won't be offended if you take off the cloak when you need to. Also. The cloak you made me is beautiful, I love it, and it will be brought out as often as I can manage to be worn and fussed over.

The Joust: Simply fantastic. The final was riveting and so very close between Alis and Lady Brigid. Now to harass the seamstresses and jewelers to ensure my clothes are 'just so' for the closing in a couple of days. And then a whole laundry list of still more to do. Charity auctions with a twist, more mines, maybe after a certain thing happens in the summer I can proceed with plans for the river port.

The Grand Melee was quite exciting to watch. As ever, Count Drake gives his all when he joins into the fun. Princess Alis's participation was a pleasant surprise and I am rather excited to see what happens at the Joust in a few days. Then we will be wrapping up the events with a ball, which I hope goes off well. It's been a fun few weeks.

Duke Cristoph Laurent showed off his horsemanship on the Equestrian course, handily winning that part of the Knight games! Dame Felicia and Count Artorius both did quite well too! The brackets for the melee tournament will be delivered quite soon as well. I'm quite excited to see how it goes as well!

Count Drake had one of the best Gauntlet runs I've had the pleasure of seeing, but Sir Bhandn, Countess Thea, Sir Corban and Raven all did exceptionally well. It was a rather fun time and I can't wait to see what happens at the Equestrian Course!

As news of the attack on Bastian trickles in, I am reminded of the heaviness I felt at the tragedy of Sanctum. To those of the Crownlands, I mourn your losses with you. I've been thrilled with the work done with Lady Ivy and have swiftly come to consider her a dear friend who I will support in any of her future endeavors. She is one of the most interesting people I have the pleasure of knowing and her goat's wool is so soft!

I am pleased to be dressing some delightful beauties in a handful of days in new winter fabrics from Lady Ivy Blackram's goats. I am delighted to have been able to work with her and all of our other friends who devoted time, silver, energy and knowledge to the endeavor.

I had such fun at the Masquerade, and I expect it will be telling when I shake out the dress I had made to wear about. It was a grand time designing, even if I am still concealing my best secret for other trades and other masks.

I've had the pleasure of adding Messere Audgrim to my trio of proteges lately. I have taken pains to find people with particularly different interests and skillsets and who I enjoy the company of, and I am pleased to say he is one of them. That is not because he made me a beautiful coat, but it didn't hurt.
