We had visitors come through Grihem's Point, and I was there with my Brother to greet them. The party accompanying Prince Victus took quite a bit of interest in our amphitheater, though I was struck particularly by how unsociable they were, I don't think any of them had any inclination of speaking with my Brother, my Sister, or myself.

I will be returning to the Isles soon, it sounds like, there will be a visit to Grihem's Point, followed by an expedition south that I am being asked to assist with. I've much to prepare for, and I've only just gotten settled into the city of Arx.

I have found a fine shop in the city that has made me a few pieces of leather armor that are quite decent, actually. Better then I expected. I think I shall continue frequenting it, it is just off of the Merchant's gate in the Compact, though I cannot recall the name off the top of my head.

I have been busy since arriving in the city, I have been seeking out instructors and tutors to help prepare me to join the Explorers Society, but it has been a slow process so far.

I'm finding that my current clothing is a little worn and ragged, at least by the standards of those in the city here now that I have arrived. I suppose I shall have to head to the market soon and find a tailor that can craft suitable fashions for a Lord of Grimhall, something leather, I think, and black. Perhaps a quilted tunic to add to it, with winter coming on.

I met two Thraxian Princesses at The Grotto last night, both of them advocating Thraxian women being allowed to take up arms, both having done so!
One of them even boasted about going to war while pregnant, I cannot think of anything more reckless, risking one's own child just to fulfill some sort of blood lust?

I had only just arrived in the city when my sister Ingrid hauled me off to the Explorer's society to meet the so called Pathfinder in charge of the group. I admit the idea of joining does appeal to the explorer in me, and I think I have much to offer to the society, so perhaps I shall look into taking the test in the near future to join their ranks.
