It has been a while since I have written a verse about the sea. Something I intend to remedy regularly.

"How I long for wooden deck, to sail upon the sea,
A salty breeze upon my face to let me know I'm free.
A fiery sky to sail beneath as another day is done,
Turn your sails to face the west and sail into the sun. ~Hali Harvey.

Ten things I learned during (and after) the Battle for Bastion:
Number 1: When people of passion and belief in a common cause come together, amazing things can be achieved.
Number 2: Unless ropes are tied to rigging, don't touch them.
Number 3: Fighting in snow, not a fan. It's cold. Real cold. Tho it does make the fall easier when you get sent into the air. Did I mention it's cold?
Number 4: Don't drink too much of whatever Lucrezia pours in your mug.
Number 5: I'll never look at a swan the same way again. Scarred for life. Flappity nightmares.
Number 6: Swing less. Duck more.
Number 7: The bigger they are, the harder they fall.
Number 8: I think I may have a wanton disregard for my own safety. Wait, I knew that already.
Number 9: Nothing like the taste of your own blood to piss you off.
Number 10: It will take Bastion a while to be what it once was, but I have no doubt its leadership and people will do all they can to achieve this.
