Relationship Note on Desiree
I've known Lady Desiree Wyrmguard since we were young. Younger, at least. A prank - which I thought she would have found as hilarious as I did - went a little wrong and it has soured things. Not so much that don't remain on friendly terms, but enough. One day I'm sure I'll remedy this.

I loved the birthday party for your twins - I apologize for not paying more attention to the two small ones, but I got quite busy with all the other adorable toddlers there. It was wonderfully chaotic, fun and terrifying at the same time - but I did enjoy myself immensely.
(Do remind me of this if I start talking about getting my own family in the near future... I don't think I am ready for it!)

Had the most wonderful encounter in the forest near Arx the other day, meeting Lady Delilah Whitehawk. All because I insisted on riding into the forest and fell on my butt when a branch swept me off.

I am sore in places I didn't know you could be sore - but I feel that this imparts on me even more lessons on how to defend myself. I shall remember that it hurts! I am so grateful for the lessons from Lord Arik Halfshav and then for the extra lesson I received from Princess Reese Grayson - and watching the spar between Lord Halfshav and Lieutenant Valtyr was extraordinary and thrilling. I will definitely go back to the training center, just for the fun of it.

It was very nice to meet Lord Arik Halfshav and Scout Rowenova yesterday. Quite chuffed that Lord Halfshav will give me some training sessions in the use of a medium weapon. And then the icing on the cake itself; meeting Sir Jordan and having a very nice chat with him. I look forward to us working together!

Relationship Note on Josephine
I can not even begin to express how impressed I am with Josephine Arcuri. She brokered an amazing deal for me for the making of my armor and weapon, so good that it felt like I MADE money when it was all over. I half suspect I was, in fact. And the ease with how she handled it all? Absolute, complete efficiency and professionalism while also being a social graceful marvel.
I enjoyed it so much I'm tempted to just buy things and beg her to broker for me, for the enjoyment of it all. I won't though, she is a busy woman.

Even if I prefer life on a ship, it's nice to take a stroll amongst trees now and again - it's where I grew up. Amongst the trees.
